Watching the new night sky,
I feel a wave of emotions,
Washing over me.

Looking at the starry sky,
I see my yesterdays,
Calling me back.

But alas!! I can't go back!!
They are long gone....!
Those emotions.....
They are the regrets,
They are the happy moments,
The memories I wanna forget,
The memories I wanna cherish.

And here I stand,
Waiting for a new morning,
Wishing for a new life,
Saying farewell to the old.

As my mind wanders around
My wishes for the forthcoming year-
"To learn to love, to learn to care",
The sun rises up, just like my hopes.
