A young girl,

Once hurt and wounded,

Lives behind her mask,

hiding her wounds and pains.

She longs to be healed,

But,she fears her own actions.

She longs to be touched,

But,she fears it's coldness 

The fear lingers inside her,

Coming out at the worst.

The memories reside inside her,

Haunting her from time to time.

She draws the line, keeping herself together.

She puts on her mask, hiding herself behind it .

Yet,deep inside,

She waits for the one,

Who could break her walls,

Touch her heart and heal her wounds.
