To make sure that you won't disappear.

I wanted to stay away,

I wanted to erase you from my life,
'cause I was afraid ,
That you were just like them,
That you would hurt me,
That you would deepen my wounds.

But I couldn't do it,
No matter how hard I tried.

I don't know,
Whether it was the love or the hate,
Whether it was the likes or the dislikes,
That pulled me closer to you.
