This is an interview with a lovely poet Grisha2610, thanks for joining in!

Q1. How did you discover Wattpad? 

 I don't really remember honestly. But I think I was just looking around to find a platform to put my ideas out there, and one of my friends told me that she published her poem here. So that's how I got started.

Q2. At what age did you start to show interest in writing? 

 I have always loved English, but I guess I really got into writing when I was 10 after writing a poem. 

Q3. Why did you start writing? 

 I think writing has always just come naturally to me. I also have been a debater for a long time, and that has caused me to elevate that passion of English. Ironically, I like writing more than speaking now.

 Q4. Who would you say is your biggest inspiration as a writer? 

The two writers that I really love are Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson) and George RR Martin (Song of Ice and Fire). I keep their writing style in mind when I am writing my own book. But for poems, I read a bunch of poems and mix them in with my own thoughts. 

 Q5. Do you have a favourite out of all the books you've written (consisting of the ones not on wattpad) ? 

This is a really tough question. I am writing two books as of now (Both are on Wattpad)- The Mystical Mirror (Fantasy) and The Wings of Night. I think I'd have to choose The Mystical Mirror. I just love creating the lore of its world and establishing a magic system that I control.

 Q6. What is your greatest challenge as a writer? 

I think I definitely struggle with pacing. I tend to describe every single thing which makes the story go a lot slower, but I'm working on it. I also sometimes see grammar as a challenge. 

 Q7. What was your inspiration to write the book that won this award? 

The poems included in The Wings of Night are the ones that I have been writing for well over a year now. I had been publishing them individually which was a bad idea. But finally, the title of the book randomly came to me and I started publishing the poems one by one in the book itself.

 Q8. Would you consider to make writing your profession or just a hobby? 

 I actually want to go into editing. Unfortunately, while writing is great, it is quite unpredictable. I love reviewing and fixing stories so it makes sense. But most probably I am going to continue writing even after school.

Q9. How did you feel when you got to know that you won your respected category? 

I felt great! I was quite confident in my book but I didn't expect winning first prize. I was very happy when I did. 

Q10. Would you like to add something to say to your supporters? 

I would like to finish with- try to take constructive criticism whenever you can. I am still an amateur writer, but I have seen enough people getting overly sensitive about their work (Not on Wattpad, but in general) Take that advice and try to work it into whatever you are doing. Believe me, it helps a lot. Also, have a good day!
