Caroline woke up in Klaus's bed, well it was now hers too for now and she felt not only a strong arm wrapped around her, holding her but also someone kissing her shoulder and her neck, not just someone... Klaus.

"What are you doing...?" Caroline said in her sleepy voice.

"Just kissing the most beautiful woman who ever existed." Klaus said softly as Caroline turned around to face him.

"Klaus, you know I won't start a relationship because of a pregnancy. I don't believe two people should be together because of a child, I believe they should be together because they love each other and want to be together." Caroline said softly.

"I know, Love. I'm sorry if I step over the line." Klaus whispered.

"You didn't. I just... I want us to be in the same page." Caroline said and Klaus nodded and kissed her cheek and then her neck, making Caroline biting her lip to stop from moaning and starting to have the desire of drinking blood, but not just any blood... his blood.

"You are so beautiful..." Klaus whispered.

"I think I'm having another craving." Caroline said, making Klaus stops

"What is it? Just say it and I will get it for you."

"I want to drink your blood... but I don't know if that will be bad for the baby."

"If it's good for you, surely it will be good for the baby." Klaus said and Caroline nodded then bite his wrist, loving the taste of his blood as he whispered to her ear. "Have at it, love. Drink as much as you want to."

Caroline drank from his wrist and then from his neck, feeling something taking control over her, and the worst was that she was loving it.

Once Caroline stopped drinking from him, he looked at her and kissed her lovingly.

"What are we doing?" Caroline whispered and kissed him. "This is only gonna make everything more complicated."

"Love, we are supernatural creatures, our lives are already complicated." Klaus whispered and kissed her.

*Meanwhile*

Elena went to look for Elijah, finding him in the library and she decided to go see how he was handling the news and what he was thinking about it.

"Hey! I finally found the soon to be uncle Elijah." Elena said in a joking way.

"Good morning, Elena! How are you today?"

"Much better. Thank you." Elena said, knowing what he was referring to. "And you? How are you with this baby news?"

"To be honest, I'm happy. I believe this baby might be what my brother needs. This baby might be do something I've been trying to do for a thousand years..."

"And what's that?" Elena asked.

"Niklaus's redemption." Elijah said. "And I think this baby might be what will bring my family closer together."

"And you might be able to live your life as you wish..." Elena completed.

"I don't know what you are suggesting, Elena." Elijah lied.

"Come on! Your entire life was about you in search of Klaus's redemption, pitting in second plan what you truly wanted to do." Elena said.

"I know it's wrong for me to think of myself when something so important is happening in my brother's life." Elijah said feeling bad about his selfish thoughts.

"No, it's not wrong. It's your humanity. We all deserve to be selfish sometimes, especially you after being so selfless for a thousand years." Elena said grabbing his face, getting closer to him. "You are an amazing person and you deserve to be happy and do what makes you happy. It's more than time to stop putting your happiness on hold."

"What if what makes me happy might only put people in danger?" Elijah whispered, grabbing her by the waist, bringing her closer to him.

"Maybe that person doesn't care..." Elena whispered and leaned in to kiss him but they were stopped by the sound of a door being open.

"Hey! Oh... Did I interrupt something?" Davina said feeling terrible for interrupting the moment Elena and Elijah were having. "I did, didn't I? I'm so sorry. I just... I came looking for this book that helps controlling magic and to learn new spells that Bonnie told me about."

"I believe it's this one." Elijah said holding a big old book and handing it to Davina.

"Thank you. And I'm so sorry. I'm gonna go. And don't worry, I haven't seen a thing." Davina said and winked to them before leaving.

"I should probably go make some breakfast because I still haven't eat anything and I'm starving." Elena said with a smile, trying to stop things from getting awkward.

"May I prepare your breakfast as a thank you for your advice?" Elijah asked.

"Of course. Thank you." Elena smiled and they went to the kitchen.

Once they got to the kitchen, they saw Klaus preparing breakfast and Caroline seating in the stool of the kitchen's island.

"Good morning! Are you guys preparing breakfast for everyone? That's so sweet!" Elena said with a smile.

"What the bloody hell are you talking about? I'm making breakfast only for Caroline and my child." Klaus said very defensive.

"Our child." Caroline corrected him. "And what's wrong with making breakfast for more people? If you won't do it, I'll do it."

"No! I don't want you to do a thing. You can't tire yourself out." Klaus said.

"Klaus, for God's sake, I'm pregnant, I'm not invalid." Caroline said upset with the way he was acting.

"Caroline, I'm just looking out for you and our child." Klaus said and heard Elena giggling. "What's so funny, may I know, doppelgänger?"

"Her name is Elena and you know it." Elijah said upset with Klaus not calling her by her name.

"I'm sorry, it's just... You two almost sound like a married couple. It's kinda cute." Elena said.

"Don't you dare to ever call me cute. I'm the original hybrid, I'm not cute!" Klaus growled.

"I think you're cute for making me breakfast. Ups! I called you cute. What are you gonna do about it?" Caroline asked in a daring way, making Klaus look at her.

"We will get some place private and we will see how cute I am." Klaus said.

"Sure you will... Now if you want me to have breakfast, you better get back to cooking before it burns." Caroline smiled sweetly at him.

"You're lucky I like you." Klaus mumbled as he got back to cooking.

"Elijah, you better close your mouth before a fly gets in." Caroline said when saw Elijah's face.

"I apologize. I just... I'm not used to see Niklaus caring so much for someone. If anyone else would talk to him that way, that person would be already dead..."
