It was night, Caroline was now with a red short dress and Klaus was with an Henley t-shirt and some dark jeans.

"Love, you really prepared for tonight..." Klaus smirked, admiring her beauty.

"Sorry to break it to you but I choose one of the first things I found." Caroline said because she didn't want Klaus to think that she was enjoying kissing him, even if she didn't hate it.

Klaus pressed Caroline against a wall and kissed her neck as they noticed Marcel was walking over to the street.

"Oh yeah..." Caroline moaned, closing her eyes, when noticed Marcel was glaring at them, making Marcel ignore them again, making her whisper to Klaus. "I don't think he suspect us..."

"Everyone! You know the rules! Now it's your night to party!" Marcel yelled and vampires jumped from the roofs and started to attack humans. "Remember. No killings! Hunting! Drinking! Erasing! Letting them go!"

"I can't believe they are okay with doing this to innocent people..." Caroline whispered as Klaus kissed her neck. "He is going to that alley near the bar..."

"Stay." Klaus whispered.

"What?" Caroline asked confused.

"He will notice if someone follows him. And if he won't, his friends will. Stay." Klaus whispered and kissed Caroline in the lips, then let a trail of kisses to her neck.

"Klaus..." she whispered, loving the way he was holding her and kissing her.

"Did he appear...?" Klaus whispered and she noticed a few vampires walking over to them.

"No... but I think some of his friends want us to be their meal." Caroline whispered.

"Trust me, love." Klaus whispered and took her to a dark alley, pressed her against the wall and kissed her.

"What are you doing?" Caroline asked, breaking the kiss.

"Trust me." Klaus whispered and kissed her again and she kissed him back.

"Look at two perfect meals..." They heard a voice saying as they kissed passionately.

"There's so many other people. Let's leave this couple alone. Let the guy get laid." The other voice said and then they heard them leaving, Caroline broke the kiss and started laughing.

"What's so funny, love?"

"Nothing. It's just... them not feeding from us because they thought that you were about to get laid." Caroline laughed, making Klaus laugh too.

"Let's go home, love." He whispered.

Elena couldn't fall asleep so she went downstairs to drink some water, but found in the living room Elijah reading a book.

"Elena? I'm so sorry. Did I awake you?"

"No. I can't sleep." Elena said with a small smile. "Actually, I'm happy I found you here. Can we talk in private? Without anyone listening..."

"Of course." Elijah said and took her to his room. "We can talk in here. The rooms of my siblings and I are spelled to give us some privacy. Is everything alright?"

"Everything's fine. I just... Today Klaus took Caroline our to spy on Marcel. I know Care is grown up and knows how to take care of herself but... I'm afraid Klaus gets stuck in this plan of getting his throne back and Caroline ends up hurt because she won't betray him, especially after their pact." Elena said.

"I don't think you should worry about Caroline. I know my brother and I have a feeling that Niklaus is not completely indifferent to Caroline." Elijah said. "Besides, he trusts her. When he trusts someone, means he cares deep down about them."

"I just don't want to see Care getting hurt."

"I told you this once and I'll tell you again. I truly admire your kindness and compassion." Elijah whispered.

"Thank you, Elijah." Elena smiled. "Anyway, I should go. I don't want you to get in troubles with Klaus because of me."

"What do you mean?"

"I've noticed doppelgänger's tend to get between you and your brother. I don't want to be the reason that happens again. Family is the most important thing someone has." Elena whispered.

"You're truly remarkable, Elena Gilbert." Elijah whispered. "But you don't need to worry about that. If you want you can stay. I don't feel the need to sleep and you probably don't want to go to bed and stay with insomnias."

"That's true." Elena smiled. "But I don't want to bother you, Elijah. You've already been so nice to me."

"You don't." Elijah said, making her smile.

Klaus and Caroline got home after stopping in a store to buy some bourbon and drank it while walking over to the Plantation.

"Love, I have to admit... I had fun. I enjoy spending time with you." Klaus whispered when got to the hallway, in front of Caroline's bedroom.

"Please... What you enjoyed was making out with me." She said.

"I won't deny that. You are a great kisser." Klaus admitted.

"You're lucky I'm single because if I had someone, I wouldn't be okay in covering you like that."

"How are you single?" Klaus whispered, cupping her cheek, caressing it with his thumb.

"We should go to sleep. We are drunk." Caroline whispered.

"You're right." Klaus sighed and whispered. "Goodnight, Love."

"Goodnight, Klaus..." she whispered and they both went to their beds smiling at themselves, thinking about how much fun they had spending time together.

*In the Morning*

After breakfast, Caroline asked Klaus to talk with him in private so he took her to his bedroom.

"What did you wish to talk to me about?" Klaus asked with a smirk.

"Can we not tell people how we have been covering to spy on Marcel?"

"I had no intentions of talking about it. I don't enjoy when people know to much about what I do." Klaus said, making Caroline roll her eyes, then he asked. "But why don't you want people to know?"

"Because I don't want them to think that I am one of your little female friends that you sleep around with when you are bored. When I turned to a hybrid, I changed and I had to prove to my friends that I was still their friend and was still loyal to them. I don't want them to think that I made this pact so we be sleeping around. I'm no longer that girl who slept with every guy who give her more than 3 seconds of attention."

"What?" Klaus asked, truly confused because he never thought Caroline would be one of those easy girls.

"It was when I was human and felt the need of approval. It's a long story... Can we just not tell people what has been going on when we go on this spying missions?"

"Of course, Love." Klaus said and before she left, he said. "By the way, I think it's obvious that you are not an easy or gullible girl. I don't think you should worry about people seeing you like that... They have no reason to see in you in that way, I mean, from everyone, you were the only one who never was afraid to tell me what you really thought about what I said and did. You always fought for what you believed in. That's why the hybrids follow your word. I might be their creator but they trust you."

"You know, they could trust you too if you showed them that you are worthy of their trust and stop with the threats." Caroline said and left.
