Elena decided to go look for Elijah, because she was feeling uneasy and for some reason Elijah was able to calm her down.

After she looked for him everywhere, she decided to go to his room. She knocked on the door but she didn't heard a thing, probably because of the room being sound proof, so she opened the door with her eyes closed.

"Elijah... Are you here? Can I come in?" Elena asked with her eyes closed.

"I'm here. Come in. And you may open your eyes." Elijah said, so Elena opened her eyes to see Elijah with a tired look.

"Are you okay?" Elena asked concerned.

"Yes. I simply feel a bit under the weather."

"What? Under the weather? How is that possible? You are a vampire, an original vampire. You shouldn't feel under the weather..." Elena said because every time she saw a vampire feeling under the weather would be because they just got tortured or something like that.

"Maybe it's because I couldn't sleep well, last night." Elijah said.

"Why do I have a feeling that you are not telling me the truth?" Elena asked now upset because she hated being out of the loop.

"Elena, you should leave." Elijah said, not looking at her.

"Not without you telling me the truth."

"Alright. Last night, Niklaus and I had an argue and Niklaus ended up biting me." Elijah said.

"What? He did what?" Elena asked now angry.

"It's fine. I'm sure he will eventually give me his blood to cure the bite."

"Why would he even do that? What's wrong with him?"

"It doesn't matter now." Elijah said with a calm voice. "Although, I need to warn you that because the bite gets worse with time, you should go until I get better. At any time now I might start to have hallucinations. I might get violent. And I do not wish to hurt you."

"Elijah..."

"Please, Elena." Elijah whispered and Elena nodded and left his room.

As Elena walked over the hallway, she saw Caroline.

"Oh, good morning, Elena!" Caroline smiled.

"Hey..."

"What's wrong?" Caroline asked worried because she could see that something was definitely not right with Elena.

"Something happened last night. I think we should talk in private." Elena said and took her to her room.

"Before we start. Let's just remember that everyone did bad things at some time."

"Do you know what Klaus did last night?" Elena asked with a judgmental look.

"What did he do?" Caroline asked, feeling confused.

"Apparently he and Elijah had an argument and Klaus decided to bite him. He decided to bite his own brother." Elena said upset.

"He did what?" Caroline asked, feeling that everything just collapsed.

"He bite Elijah!" Elena said.

"How's Elijah?" Caroline asked.

"He is suffering and he fears that he might start to get hallucinations that might make him violent."

"Maybe it's best for you to go to Bonnie and see if she can figure out something to help Elijah." Caroline said.

"And what are you gonna do?"

"Just clear out some things." Caroline said and left.

Caroline walked over to Klaus's room and saw him drawing something in his sketchbook.

"Hello, Love! What a marvelous morning..." He said with a smirk.

"How could you?" Caroline asked and Klaus just gave her a confused look. "Do you even care about people or are they just objects to you?"

"What are you talking about?" Klaus asked now with a very serious face, not enjoying having Caroline questioning him like that.

"I'm talking about Elijah. You bite Elijah. He is your brother! He was one of the few people who was always by your side. And just because last night you two had some fight, you decide to bite him just because you couldn't agree on something?" Caroline said upset, wondering if the good things she saw in him were true or if was her just trying to humanize him.

"Why do you care? Why is this making you so upset? Is maybe because of reasons you are hiding?" Klaus said angry and feeling jealous of Caroline being concerned with Elijah.

"This is making me upset because I never thought you would make your brother be suffering like that. You know what werewolf bites do to vampires. He might not die but he will be suffering, hallucinating with horrible things..." Caroline said. "I know you did plenty of bad things and I'm aware that you have the tendency to dagger your siblings but I didn't thought you would also make them suffer with a werewolf bite."

"Why not? I am the big bad wolf. I am the monster everyone fears." Klaus said.

"Maybe you are right. Maybe everything good I saw in you it was just an illusion." Caroline said, making Klaus feel truly hurt because he cared about Caroline and he liked to have her seeing good in him. "Maybe it's best for us to stop being friends."

"Is that what you truly want, love?" Klaus whispered, grabbing Caroline by the waist and pressing her against the wall.

"Yes." Caroline said, ignoring how good it felt him touching her and being so close to her.

"Really?" Klaus asked and Caroline simply nodded as she felt Klaus leaning in. "Don't underestimate the allure of darkness, even the purest hearts are drawn to it."

"There's no allure to darkness." Caroline said and vamp speed out of the room.

Caroline went to her room to start to pack because she wanted to leave the place where she would see Klaus all the time.
