Elena woke up with Elijah getting up from the bed.

"Elijah? It's 5 am. Can't you stay a little bit longer?"

"Elena... I'm sorry. Did I awake you?"

"It doesn't matter. Can't you stay?" Elena whispered in a sleepy voice.

"I can't."

"Why? Is everything okay?" Elena asked now concerned.

"Yes. I just... I don't think it's a good idea me staying here. Klaus might find out and..."

"And what?"

"And he will start to think there's something between us and then he might..."

"Do you think that he might get upset and... hurt you?"

"Maybe but that's not what I'm worried about." Elijah whispered, making Elena look at him confused. "I fear he might hurt you, if not worse."

"He can't kill me. If he does, the Pact he has with Care will no longer exist."

"He can get new hybrids. He can kill you by making you bleed out every single drop of your blood." Elijah said.

"Are you really worried about me, when he can very well dagger you?"

"I can deal with that. What I cannot deal with is you getting yourself hurt because of me."

"You are not doing anything wrong."

"Getting close to you is enough for Klaus to hurt you." Elijah said.

"You can tell him that you were just making sure nothing happened to his living blood bad." Elena whispered and Elijah hated to hear her talk about herself as if she was nothing but a human blood bag.

"Fine. I think today it will be alright." Elijah said and lay down next to Elena, under the covers.

"Thank you for staying." Elena whispered in true appreciation.

*Meanwhile*

Klaus was laying down next to Caroline as they talked.

"Do you think there's something between Elena and my brother Elijah?"

"I don't think so. Why?" Caroline asked curious to know why Klaus was wondering such a thing, then said in a joking way. "If I didn't know any better I would start to think you were jealous of him."

"I'm not." Klaus quickly replied.

"It's okay to admit if you are starting to care about her." Caroline whispered, because even if she had got more self esteem since she turned, she still had an insecure side when it come to boys and Elena.

"I can assure you that is not the case. For me she is nothing but a human who carries the blood I need to make hybrids. If it wasn't you and your pact, I would have killed her long ago." Klaus whispered.

"Then why do you keep wondering if Elena and Elijah are growing closer or if they have a thing?"

"Because all the other times he fell for a doppelgänger, he ended up betraying me." Klaus whispered with an upset tone, trying to only show anger, when it fact that made him more hurt than angry.

"Was it really that bad?"

"Yes. First it was Tatia. I was courting her and, one night, decided to take a chance and kiss her, then... in the same night... I found him kissing her. Then it was Katerina... he knew how important it was for me to complete the ritual but he let his feelings get in the middle of things... and now... if he falls for Elena, I won't be surprise if he leaves with her or if he turns her into a vampire... betraying me, once more."

"If you keep acting nice, he won't have to leave with her." Caroline said.

"Are you really defending Elijah?" Klaus asked upset. "Why am I even surprise? Of course you are. He is the good Mikaelson. He is the noble one. Everyone loves him."

"Are you jealous of Elijah?" Caroline smirked, finding funny the original hybrid being jealous of someone. "Oh and not everybody loves Elijah. I don't. He is okay but he can be more scary than you."

"You find him more scary than me?" Klaus asked because usually he was the one everyone feared the most.

"Yeah... He is always talking in such a calm tone and you can't ever tell what he is thinking... just creeps me out."

"And you can tell what I am thinking?"

"Not all the time but you show anger or happiness. You show emotions when something happens, while Elijah sometimes seems like a robot who, weirdly, does not understand technology." Caroline said, making Klaus chuckle.

"Wow! Did I make the big bad wolf laugh?" Caroline asked in a surprise tone and start to laugh.

"I haven't met many people who can make me really laugh." Klaus admitted and Caroline simply smiled to him.

He gave a peck on her cheek and moved to be on top of her, starting to let a trail of kisses from her cheek to her neck.

"Klaus, we..." Caroline whispered, as her rational side told her to stop but her body yelled to keep going.

"We are not doing anything wrong." Klaus whispered.

"I thought we had agreed we couldn't keep acting like this..."

"I didn't agree on anything, love. I believe we are simply two individuals who enjoy to be like this with each other." Klaus whispered and got under the covers, starting to kiss the part of her belly that was exposed.

"Fine... but we can't let take things further than this..." Caroline whispered and rolled over to be on top of him, quickly starting to kiss his chest and his 6 pack, making him groan.

*Meanwhile*

Bonnie just took a shower and when went to the bedroom to get dressed, she found Kol, laying on the bed, smirking at the vision of Bonnie in nothing but a towel.

"This is quite the vision, darling."

"Kol, I need to get dressed."

"It's alright. I don't mind to see. Even if I do think you do look rather lovely in just this small towel." Kol said, looking up and down at her.

"Kol, Stop being a creeper and let me get dressed."

"Why are you in such a rush?"

"Because we need to figure out why Davina gets so troubled every time someone performs magic." Bonnie said. "And let's not forget that she is too young to be in the middle of this and that Klaus will soon want to take over Marcel and I don't know how Davina will react to that because I can see that she still cares about him and..."

"Darling, it's barely morning and you are already worrying with way too much." Kol cut her off.

"What do you suggest, then?" Bonnie asked.

"How about a massage to relax?"

"Just because that happened once..." Bonnie said and quickly noticed the look Kol gave her. "Fine, it was more than once... but that doesn't mean it will ever happen again."

"Come on, don't be like that... I'm just trying to help." Kol said, giving puppy dog eyes.

"Fine. But it better be quick and if you start to get too handsy I will cut off your hands just to give you a lesson." Bonnie said.

"I do enjoy how feisty you are." Kol said with a smirk, making Bonnie roll her eyes.

"Let's just get this over with." Bonnie said and Kol smirked again and asked her to lay down on the bed so he could start to massage her.

He started by massaging her shoulders and then her neck, then he moved to the upper back, making her bite her lower lip to repress the moans.

He started to massaging her lower back, above the towel and he found himself massaging her lower back as he kissed her upper back and her shoulder.

"Kol... what are you doing?" Bonnie whispered.

"Do you want me to stop?" Kol whispered and she didn't say a word, so he kept massaging her.
