After breakfast, Kol took Bonnie to the safe house so Bonnie could get in contact with Davina and be able to end the contact once she would get caught or if Davina tried to hurt her.
"I brought everything you need to make this spell." Kol said and sighed then looked at Bonnie. "You know you don't have to do this, right? You are exposing yourself to the enemy."
"If she is really being kept in that place, she has no idea what's really happening and she will need a friend." Bonnie said.
"Fine. But if you feel something is about to go wrong, you will break the spell and let Klaus take care of this."
"If I do that Klaus will kill her or worse." Bonnie said and Kol gave her a look, making her ask. "Why are you so worried about me getting hurt or getting caught? I've heard about you and your witch friends. You could get another witch on your side if something happened to me."
"I just... It doesn't matter. Just be careful." Kol said, not wanting to admit that he was actually enjoying spending time with Bonnie and that he felt attracted to her.
Kol gave Bonnie six candles, salt, herbs, which were mostly violets for protection, myrrh for meditation and acacia for focus, then some water.
Bonnie draw a circle of salt surrounding her with the six candles, the herbs and the water, so it would be a circle that would focus all her magic and energy. She used a plummet to dangle above the map, so she would appear in the place she wanted to be projected successfully.
"Demitte moi, Demitte moi." Bonnie started to chant and quickly found herself in an attic full of paintings and drawings.
Bonnie noticed a young girl with long dark brown hair with a white dress, seating on a chair drawing something.
"Who are you?" The girl asked without making a move, making Bonnie still face her back.
"I am Bonnie. I am not really here. I just... I came in peace to talk with you." Bonnie said, making Davina get off the bed and look at Bonnie with a suspicious look.
"How did you...? I can feel every witch who uses their magic. Why wasn't I able to feel your magic?"
"I am in a protected place." Bonnie admitted.
"Where?"
"I can't tell you even if I want to." Bonnie said.
"What do you want? If you want to hurt Marcel, you'll have to go through me first." Davina said firmly. "I might look young but I am more powerful than I look."
"I know. I came here in peace." Bonnie said. "I need to tell you what Marcel has been doing but before that, I want to know about you."
"Why?"
"Because even if there are witches saying that the witch who's helping Marcel is someone who deserves to die for betraying the witches, I believe that I can't really judge you if I don't know the reason that let you remain so loyal towards Marcel." Bonnie said.
"Okay... But before I tell you all that, I want to know about you."
"Fair enough. I am Bonnie Bennett. I am new in New Orleans. I am working with someone who I don't really like but wants the best for this city. I only came to this town because I wanted to make sure my friends were safe and sound. My mother left me when turned into a vampire, my father and I don't have the closest relationship and my Grams died shortly after teaching me about magic. She was the one who practically raised me. Because I have so few family members, it made me see my friends were my family and made me be very protective of them and because I know about loss and pain, I wanted to see how you were doing. If it's true that you spend most of the time in here, you can get pretty lonely and I thought we could be friends." Bonnie said.
"That would be nice. I'm Davina Claire." Davina smiled.
"Good. But you can't tell anything to Marcel."
"Why?"
"Because that way he will know I used magic and he will kill me."
"No, he won't. He only hurts the witches who are practicing magic to hurt him." Davina said with a smile and Bonnie looked at her with a sad look.
"Is that what he told you?" Bonnie asked, upset that Marcel was manipulating this young innocent girl just because of her power.
"Yes. Why?" Davina asked, no longer smiling.
"Davina... I am sorry... Marcel kills everyone who practices magic. Even if it's something as small as lighting some candles." Bonnie whispered.
"What? Why? Why would he? No! He wouldn't do that! He is only killing the witches that are coming after me."
"What do you mean?"
"I was supposed to be a harvest girl. The elders convinced me and my friends that we would make a ritual only to get stronger and to be better connected with our ancestors but when it comes to the time to make that ritual I saw them slaughtering my friends and when they were about to slaughter me too, Marcel appeared and took me here. He kept me safe. He is protecting me."
"He is keeping you from having a life. He killed a witch just because she made the same spell I'm making. A witch that just wanted to see her loved one who was out of town... and because she made that spell, she went against his rule of no magic, which is punish by death. She was slaughtered in the middle of the street surrounded by Marcel's army of vampires. Marcel is hurting innocent witches."
"I-I didn't know. He told me he needed me to locate who practiced magic so he could see if they were trying to hurt me or not. I never thought someone would die for making just an innocent spell. I'm sorry." Davina whispered with her eyes watery.
"It's okay. You had no idea what he was doing." Bonnie whispered. "I need your help."
"For what?"
"You know that person I told you about? The one I don't like very much but is trying to do good for the town?"
"Yes."
"Well, this person plans on getting Marcel's throne. He plans on making new rules and on having each faction having a leader who makes decisions about the supernatural world and the town, fighting for each faction's need. He is thinking of ways to communicate with the werewolves and witches so we can help him and after he gets the throne, he will fight for every supernatural creature to live in peace."
"He seemed like a good person. Why don't you like him?"
"I have my reasons. But now he is surrounding himself with people who want to have everyone living in harmony in the same town. His goal is good." Bonnie reassured Davina.
"Okay... What do I have to do?" Davina asked.
"I need you to stay here for a little longer and keep me informed about Marcel, his friends and his plans."
"Okay. I wont let you down. I will do right by the witches." Davina said and Bonnie nodded then disappeared.
