Klaus woke up early and made scrambled eggs with bacon, put it on a tray, put some grapes in a small bowl, then put it on the tray along with some blood bags and took all of it to Caroline's bedroom.

"Good morning, love." He whispered to her ear and she quickly grabbed him by the throat and rolled them over, making him fall to the floor and she be on top of him with a hand on his throat and another on his chest.

"Klaus?"

"Yes, Love. It's just me." Klaus said, finding weird that she automatically got defensive.

"Sorry. I woke up with someone calling me so I thought it was someone else."

"And clearly you don't like that person." Klaus said as Caroline took her hand from his throat, making Klaus change to a seating position, grabbing her by the waist, so she would stay on his lap. "Who did you think I was?"

"I don't know..."

"I don't believe that. Someone usually doesn't wake up and is already prepared to fight."

"Well I'm not just someone. And I got kidnapped a few times so when someone tries to wake me up, I get defensive."

"Say the names and I gladly kill these people who've wronged you."

"Doesn't matter who these people were. Why are you here?" Caroline asked confused.

"I know yesterday we had a little spat and that things could have gone better so I decided to be a good friend, which you said we could be, and got you some breakfast." Klaus said pointing to the tray.

"Friends usually don't make breakfast in bed to other friends."

"I'm new in the whole making friends thing." Klaus quickly said, proud of himself for finding a good excuse so quickly.

"Whatever. You're lucky that I'm hungry. Let's eat." Caroline said and they started to eat and drink the blood bags. "I thought there was no more blood bags B+."

"We hadn't but I took the liberty to get more since it's your favorite type of blood."

"How do you know that?"

"I can't reveal all my sources of information." Klaus smirked and Caroline smiled.

They were now eating grapes and Caroline made him play catch, meaning she would throw a grape and he would have to catch it with his mouth and he did the same to her.

"These grapes are amazing!" Caroline smiled.

"Have another one, Love." Klaus whispered and fed her a grape, making him look at her with lust as she looked at his blue eyes, feeling lost in them.

He used his thumb to wipe the water that was in Caroline's lower lip because these grapes were still wet from him washing them to be fresh.

Caroline's heart started to beat faster as she felt his thumb slowly moving in her lower lip and noticing how he was looking intensely to her lips.

Klaus leaned in and before he could kiss her, Caroline rest her forehead in his, enjoying being so close with him while avoiding them to kiss and starting to mix things. Klaus started to brush her nose with his, making their lips be very close to each other.

He leaned in, making her lay down with him on top of her and he started to brush his nose on her neck, making her feel his breath on her neck and wanting to feel him kissing her. She ran her fingers through his curly hair, grabbing some of his curls and pulling him to be closer to her.

Klaus stopped brush his nose on her neck and let his nose feel her shoulder, her collar bone and her belly, lifting a bit of her top to be able to feel her belly. It was like he was tracing where he wanted to kiss her once he got her to accept be more than just friends.

"Klaus..." she moaned lowly because this was turning her on, just like it was making Klaus want more.

"You're so beautiful..." Klaus whispered and looked at her, leaning in to kiss her but before he had a chance, Caroline's phone buzzed, making them look at the night stand.

She didn't know if she should feel relief or upset with her mother being calling her right now.

Elena woke up with the sunlight hitting her face, feeling this warm and cuddling thing next to her, making her wrap herself around it, without opening her eyes or thinking where she was.

"Good morning, lovely Elena!" Elijah whispered as he noticed her waking up.

"Good morning!" She smiled as she snuggled into his embrace but then she realized what she was doing and stopped.

"Elijah... I'm sorry. I didn't..." Elena whispered embarrassed, getting out of his grip.

"It's alright, Elena. I am simply glad you were able to sleep without having nightmares." Elijah whispered. "I think you've been under too much pressure lately, so... today I'm going to take you to a small tour around New Orleans. I will use casual clothes and some glasses so people won't recognize me and you won't be put in danger."

"You don't need to do that."

"But I want to." Elijah said. "I am now going to take a shower and get ready. I advice you to do the same so we can go and have some breakfast on the way."

"Okay. Thank you, Elijah." Elena said and gave a peck on his cheek before leaving.
