I think one of the most heart breaking things I've ever read about is the fact that Reyna was cursed by Aphrodite to always be alone and never find love. Piper meant well with her "you don't need a boyfriend" talk at the end BOO and Reyna was nice about it but it would have made me angry. I find the trope where a character who's unlucky in love learning that they don't need a relationship to be happy a bit of a cop out. It's well meaning but comes with the unintentional implication that you're going to die alone so you should just suck it up and deal with it. I would especially hate to hear it from the person my crush chose over me.
