Hunter's POV:

I only just joined Hexsqaud High and already I had been invited to join a basketball team called the Emerald Entrails. I've never even played basketball before so I don't know how that happened.

When Willow, the star player, introduced me to the others, that's when I met Skara. She was an emo girl, and I had a thing for those.

While we were practicing, I kept on staying by her side even though she kept on glaring and gritting her teeth at me. I knew she was a tsundere, bit I didn't mind.

I was a little dissapointed that she never passed the ball over to me despite me being the tallest in the group, but it was understandable.

As we continued doing practice, I continued hanging out with her. It got to the point I would follow her around at breaktime. She would keep on telling me to go away, but I kept on following her, knowing I could make her crack.

And those cracks were starting to show. She started smiling at me, which purified my soul because of how sweet it was. She would also start sharing her bubblegum with me, and she even let me go over to her house one night.

That's when she was the sweetest. At her house, she didn't pretend to be an emo girl, she was just herself there, and I loved her regardless.

And that's also the night we kissed. Although I had been pushing her to open up a lot in the past few weeks, I never begged her to kiss me. I knew that a kiss needed to happen naturally, not forced.

When we were sat really close in her bed watching Tiktoks, that's when she leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. My face went red that the lipstick stain wasn't visible but had just blended in.

And from that night towards, we started dating.
