Gaunter o'Dim jest demonem znanym w wielu kulturach pod wieloma imionami oraz pseudonimami takimi jak Pan Lusterko czy Szklany Człowiek

Wybrałem Gauntera o Dima głównie z tego powodu, że jest to najbardziej mroczna ze wszystkich postaci, które widziałem. Z drugiej strony trudno określić jego czyny jako jednoznacznie złe lub dobre. Ot, zdradził temu czy owemu jakiś sekret, wcale nie uciekając się do kłamstw. Dał dziecku zabawkę by owo miało o czym marzyć, lub pomógł zagubionemu człowiekowi odnaleźć drogę. Później już tylko obserwował z cienia, jak potoczy się los. Dla czystej rozrywki. A jednak ludzie zwykle obwiniają go za...Za wszystko, właściwie. To zabawne jak desperacko próbują wierzyć, że bogowie czy inne moce nadprzyrodzone kontrolują ich życie. W odróżnieniu od swoich odpowiedników z innych światów nie łaknie władzy czy zniszczenia. Są to dla niego rzeczy banalne i prostackie. Najbardziej lubi zawierać pakty, z pozoru niewinne, błahe umowy, jednak taki pakt zazwyczaj doprowadza do szaleństwa tego, kto z nim go zawarł. Nie ma możliwości zerwania paktu i zawsze trzeba spłacić dług. Jedynym sposobem, aby zerwać umowę z o'Dimem jest wygrać grę, która działa na jego zasadach. Aby zaaranżować ową grę, trzeba założyć się z nim o coś, co go zainteresuje.

Gaunter o Dim jest alegorią do stworzenia postać, której z pozoru nieistotna ingerencja sprawia, że historia poszła w kierunku w którym widzimy. Tego typu postać bardzo ubarwiłaby każdy serial i dała możliwość tworzenia multiwersum.  To ma potencjał lub nie. Wszystko zależy czy ktoś lubi bardziej złożoną fabułę czy nie.

Some of you are probably wondering who this character is next to Eda and the King, I hurry to explain, it's this:

He likes to make pacts, seemingly innocent, trivial agreements, but such a pact usually drives the person who made it mad. There is no way to break the pact and you always have to pay the debt. The only way to break your deal with O'Dimm is to win a game that works on its terms. To arrange this game, you have to make a bet with him about something that will interest him.

Gaunter o Dimm is an allegory to create a character whose seemingly insignificant interference makes the story go in the direction we see. This type of character would add color to any series and give the possibility to create a multiverse. It has potential or not. It all depends on whether someone likes a more complex story or not.
