Sydni's POV

"I can't believe you're leaving." I whispered to Thomas.
"I know I know. But I'll be back soon."
"You better be. I'll come get you."
"Sure babe." He chuckled.
"I will"
"I know. But you gotta take care of yourself and our baby."
"I will but I'm gonna be worried sick about you."
"Don't be. I'll be fine."
"Yeah you'll be real fine when they're throwing bombs at you."
"You just had to go there."
"It's hard not to."
"I know. When you have the baby write me and send a picture. I'll be here if I can't but if I can't I'm so sorry and you know I want to be."
"I know. It's not fair you can't be here. I thought if you were married you didn't have to go."
"I thought so too. But I guess not."
"He needs his father."
"And he'll have his father."

The bus was here and we're all outside saying our goodbyes. I kiss Thomas.
"Bye. I love you."
"I love you too Syd. And I love you too." He said rubbing my stomach. I usually don't like people touching my stomach but in this case I'll let it slide.
They loaded the bus. The bus pulled out and I went to walk back inside. I couldn't stand to watch him leave.

Then out of the blue Shelby decides to be her crazy self and chase after the bus.
"Shelby get your ass back here before you get ran over!" I yelled back.
"I'm pregnant!" She yelled. Holy shizzle dizzle.....
"I love you too!" Steve hollered out. That stupid mofo.

"You seriously had to get pregnant when Steve leaves?" I asked her.
"I didn't mean too. I didn't think I could." She sighed.
"It's ok. Our babies will be close in age."
"Yeah. They'll be close like us."
"Or they'll hate each other like us." I joked.
"True." She laughed. I was starting to get somewhat happy when it happened. Shelby must've noticed the look on my face.

"Sydni what's wrong?"
"My water. My water just broke. What do I do?!"
"I don't know! Dally what do we do!?" She asked him.
"I don't know! I'm not good with things like this! Aren't you going to medical school?!" He yelled.
"Oh yeah! I'm almost trained for this! I think we need to get you to the hospital!" She said.
"You think?!" I said frustrated. They helped me in the car and Shelby drove like a crazy lady to the hospital.
"I might not even make it the freaking hospital!"
"Chill out!" Shelby said.
"Chill out?! Are you seriously telling me to chill out!?"
"That's what I said!" She answered. I hit her with her purse. She swerved.
"Quit swerving!" I yelled.
"Quit hitting me with my purse!"
"Both of you quit!" Dally said.

We finally pulled up to the hospital and nurses came and wheeled me in. Wish me luck....
