Hey everyone!! First off I wanted to say thanks for all the prayers and Donna Jo is doing good. Her surgery went well the other day and she had another surgery on her face today and it went good. Greg and Blake are fine. Well as fine as they can be in this situation. But they're both strong boys. Now I want to say thank you all so much for your support for this book. When I wrote it u thought only me and my friends would read it. But now it has a lot of reads!!! Sorry for the long authors note!! Enjoy!!

Shelby's POV
It was a long ride home. No one really talked. Everyone was in shock. Then Two-bit broke the silence. Shocker right?
"Can I name the baby?" He asked.
"It depends what you're thinking." I said. What could it possibly be?
"Well I have a few ideas. Keith Mickey Randle or Mickey Keith Randle or Two-bit Keith Randle or Matthew Randle." He stated.
"What's with all the Randle?" I asked.
"Really Shelby?? You ask about the Randle but not about all the Mickey, Two-bit, and Keith?!" Leah exclaimed.
"Well sorry. The Randle caught my attention." I said.
"That's what you said after you told us you slept with Steve the first time." Skylar smirked.
"Shut up." I crossed my arms.
"Shelby I'm saying Randle because it's his baby. We all know it is and deep down you do to. I know it's hard because you can't remember but you will. You and Steve were in love and I believe you both still are." Two-bit told me.
"It is hard. Why does all this shit happen to me?! I finally find I guy I was supposedly madly in love with and I'm supposedly having his baby and I don't remember anything about him!!" I started to cry.
"Hey it's all gonna be ok. You were, and probably still are, in love with Steve and you are having his baby. Steve will help you with the baby." Two-bit said.
"I'm sure he will but I still wish I could remember. And what if I cheated on him one time or got drunk and slept with somebody else and it's their kid and I don't remember." I said.
"I never thought about that. But I can assure you you didn't cheat on him and if you were drunk Steve was with you. I'm telling you, you two were together 24/7." He said.
"How am I gonna tell the gang? How do I tell Caden I'm having a baby and its not his. Me and him are engaged!!" I asked.
"You're engaged?!?!" Two-bit yelled.
"He asked me a few nights ago. I told him yes unless I remember and what you all say is true." I said quietly.
"Shelby why would we lie to you?! You wanna know the truth?! Well here's the truth! Caden cheated on you with some blonde! He broke your heart Minnie! You guys came to Tulsa to get away and you met Steve at the DX! It was love at first sight!!!! Since then yall have been inseparable and you've had sex quite a few times!! You love Steve with all your heart and he loves you with all of his! I know you can't remember but it makes me mad you would go back to some trash like Caden! Caden was helping Evie! Supposedly to get you back and not hurt you but I don't by that bullshit!! I think he has some other motive!! Look I'm sorry I'm yelling but you have to see that Steve loves you and you love him and he's your boyfriend. He gave you a promise ring and tattooed your name on his chest. Where do you think those tattoos came from? Tattoos don't magically appear sweetheart." He stated.
"I know they don't. I don't know what I think and I don't know what to think. I love Steve. I'll admit that. But I love Caden to and as far as I can remember he hasn't hurt me in anyway." I said.
"God you're so stubborn." Two-bit smiled shaking his head.
"I've been told that a time your two." I said.
"Back to the whole telling the gang thing." Timber said. "I think you need to tell Steve first then tonight tell the gang. Caden's with Ty tonight so you can tell him tomorrow. If you need support we'll be here for you." She said.
"You're right. Where's Steve at?" I asked.
"It's Friday and 1 o'clock so my guess is he's just coming back from lunch and is at the DX." Ashley said.
"Well that's where I need to go" I said.
"Right now? Because if so I need to turn left in 5 seconds." Leah said.
"Right now." I said and Leah made a sharp turn.
"Careful precious cargo on board!!" I yelled.
"Yes Leah I'm in the car be careful!!" Two-bit said. I'm not sure if he was joking or not honestly.
"Oh hush Two. I'm sorry I didn't get instructions in where to go until we were almost there." She smarted off. We pulled into the DX. I'm getting nervous again. What will he say? Will he hate me forever and leave me? How could he leave me if we're not even together? What if it's not his baby and he knows that because we didn't have sex then?
"Ready Shelby?" Chandra asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be. I'm gonna talk to him alone. Can you guys just stay with Soda?" I asked.
"Sure kiddo. If you need anything just holler." Two-bit smiled. He's always smiling.
"Thanks." I said getting out. Wish me luck....

Soda and Steve were standing by the door talking.
"Hey ladies...and Two-bit" Steve greeted us.
"What are yall doing here?" Soda asked cheerfully.
"Hey. I need to talk to Steve....alone" I said gloomily. They could tell something was wrong because their faces dropped.
"Let's go in the shop." He said holding the door for me. I went in. We walked in the shop.
"What's up?" He asked.
"I don't really know any other way to say this and I'm really nervous so just bear with me." I said.
"Ok."
"This morning I was really sick. The girls wanted me to go the doctor but I didn't want to. So me being me I locked myself in the bathroom. I looked through the cabinets and I saw all the pads and tampons. Then it hit me, I'm suppose to be on my period. I ran to my bedroom and checked my calendar. And I was right....I'm late." He just kinda stared at me. I continued with my story. "So I went to the doctor. Two-bit was outside so he tagged along. I took a pregnancy test and.....I'm pregnant. It's due April 4. Meaning it was conceived July 4. I don't know who the father is but everyone says it's you and I have a feeling it's you too..... Please don't hate me and if you think it's not yours I understand." He just stared at me. I didn't say anything. I just waited for a response. He finally smiled.
"You're having a baby?" He asked.
"That's what they tell me."
"We're having a baby!!" He said while picking me up and spinning me around.
"So it's yours? You're sure?"
"Positive. On July 4 we were at the lake. You were suppose to go to college the next few days so we went really hard. I guess the condom broke." He said with a goofy smile. I kissed him.
"Talk about Independence Day." I smiled.
"No kidding. Have you told anybody else?"
"The girls and Two-bit know for sure and Sydni and Thomas know I might be." I said.
"So you haven't told Greg or Dally yet?"
"You're not dead yet are you?" I joked but I was kinda serious to.
"True. Ya know we could just run off right now and never come back? Just me and you and the baby." He said flirtingly. I smiled.
"We can't do that. I don't think they'll kill you if I tell them when they're in a good mood. They might severely injure you."
"I know we can't. It'd be nice but I couldn't leave my buddies."
"I couldn't either. There's one more person here I haven't told that I need to."
"Who?"
"Caden."
"Oh." His face dropped.
"Steve we're engaged and I still don't remember you. I know there had to be something because of the baby but how do I know that wasn't just a one night stand?"
"You're engaged to that prick! Shelby you do realize he tried to kill you?! How do I get through your head that I love you?! Please tell me! I'll do whatever it takes to win you back! Anything at all! You're whole family and all your friends keep telling you what happened but you still won't listen. What is it gonna take?! He said. He turned around and kicked some tools laying on the ground.
"Steve I'm sorry. Look I'll call off the engagement for now until things calm down."
"For now. Just for now. And then when things 'clear up' you'll run off and marry him and leave with my baby. Well that ain't gonna happen. That's my baby and I will see my baby. And I ain't gonna let some other guy step in and try to be its dad!! I always said I'd be a better dad then my old man and I damn sure will be!! A whole lot better!!!!" He exclaimed.
"I'm not gonna keep it away from you. It's your baby and you have the right to see it."
"You're damn right I do. But I'm not sure about you these days. You're not yourself now. Caden's changed you. He's put something in your head." He said. I don't know what happened but I just exploded.
"Dammit Steve I love you!!!!!! I love you!!! I don't know why I'm with Caden and I don't understand anything!!!! I'm lost and confused and I'm scared!!! But nobody understands that!!! They think I should just remember!! Well I'm trying and I really want to!!!! But it's hard!!!! It's hard to just walk back into a life you don't even remember!!!!! And for all I know I don't even know you!!!! Why would I go and get in a serious relationship with a guy I just met!!! To me that doesn't make any sense but to everybody else I should just act like nothing happened!!! Well something did happen!! Caden's the only thing I really remember!! Steve I'm scared!! And you know what I'm scared of?! I'm scared I'll never remember and I'll never be with you and I'll never know what we had!! And if we really had something good and it felt amazing I'm scared I'll never feel that way again. They way I felt last night was indescribable. I wanna feel that way all the time." I started tearing up "But I can't. I want to know if I use to always feel that way or if I've felt better. I'm scared if and when I marry Caden I'll be committed to someone I don't really love and the person I truly love is right here in front of me. I'm scared that you'll find someone else and then I'll remember but you won't want to be with me. But mainly I'm scared that when I walk out of here you'll forget all about everything I just said and hate me for the rest of your life. I love you." He walked towards me.
"I love you to. I'll never walk out on you or find anyone else. It'll never be to late I promise. I'm sorry I yelled at you and hurt you and made you cry. I promised Greg, Dally, Two-bit, and myself I'd never do any of those. But no matter what we're gonna be happy. I love you so much." He hugged me.
"I love you to." I said in his chest. He kissed me.
"Now let's go and tell Soda that I'm gonna be a dad." He perked up.
"Alright." I smiled.
"With a pretty smile like that you can't have any tears." He wiped the tears of my cheek. We walked back outside.

"So...what was with all the yelling??" Soda asked.
"We had a moment. But guess what!!!" Steve exclaimed.
"What?!" Soda said getting excited.
"I said guess!!"
"I'm getting a raise!!!!!" Soda said.
"No better!!!!"
"You're giving me the DX!!!"
"Nope!!! Why would you think that?"
"I don't know just hoping. Does it involve money?!?!"
"It's gonna cost me money."
"Oh just tell me!!"
"Fine. Spoil the fun."
"Tell me already!!" They were acting like 5 year olds.
"Shelby's pregnant!! I'm gonna be a dad!!!!"
"Wait you mean I'm gonna be an uncle!!!"
"Yes!!!!"
"This is great!!! And since Greg and Dally's gonna kill you and Shelby, me and Leah are the godparents!!!"
"Dude you just ruined the moment." Steve said flatly.
"Sorry. Can I name it?"
"I already called dibs!" Two-bit said.
"What are thinking?" I asked Soda completely ignoring Two-bit.
"What about Patrick Randle or Sodapop Patrick Randle or Pepsi~Cola Randle or Patrick Michael Randle or Patrick Shayne Randle. Something Patrick or Sodapop."
"What if it's a girl?" Steve asked.
"Same thing." Soda shrugged.
"Shelby's had a girls name picked out for years. Haven't ya Shelb?" Skylar snickered.
"Shut up Sky. I can't use that name now. I just like that name because it's a roping trick and it's cute." I said.
"What was it?" Steve asked.
"Dally Jo." Skylar laughed.
"So you'll name it after Dally but not me or Soda." Two-bit said.
"I didn't know Dally then." I said.
"Name what after Dally?" A voice said from behind me. Shit.

I turned around.
"Oh hey Dally." I smiled.
"Hey. What were you guys talking about?" He asked seriously.
"Before I tell you you have to promise me you won't kill or severely injure anybody ok?" I said.
"Yeah yeah whatever."
"Do you want the whole story or just the short story?" I asked.
"Short story now and whole story some other time."
"Ok... I felt sick this morning. I went to the doctor and I'm pregnant." I said quickly. I started shaking.
"You're what? I don't think I heard you right."
"Dally I'm pregnant."
"That little bastard got you knocked up!! You're pregnant with Caden!!!"
"Dally it's mine! I'm the father." Steve said.
"Oh. That's a little better but we still got a problem here. Shelby's pregnant. I told you if you get her pregnant I'd either kill you or make you wish you were dead. Depending on what mood I was in."
"Dally I'm sorry. But it's done. There's nothing we can do about it now." Steve said.
"Oh yes there is. I can still kill you."
"No you can't. You promised me you wouldn't." I said.
"But Shelby..." He whined.
"Don't you but me. You promised. Dally. He didn't hurt me. I'm happy. I know it's gonna be hard but I think I can get through it."
"Were you really gonna name it after me?"
"I just might." I said. He kinda half smiled.
"I'll spare you for now Randle. But watch your back. Especially when Greg find out." He smirked.
"Thanks Dal. And I know to watch out for Greg." Steve said.
"Have fun with that. I better go. If you need anything sis just holler alright."
"Alright Dally. Thanks." I answered him.
"No sweat. Hey Skylar I'm going to Buck's. Wanna come?"
"Sure. Bye guys." She waved at us.
"Bye." We all said.

Skylar and Dally left and now we're all heading to the Curtis house to tell everyone else. Wish us luck. Especially Steve....
