Shelby's POV

I woke up and went to take a shower. The hot water wasn't working, great. I had to go take a shower at the Curtis house. First, I called Greg and told him to fix it.

"I'll fix it while you're at work Shelb."

"Thanks Greggie!" I walked to their house in my Mickey PJ's. Only Soda and Darry were awake, Steve and Pony was still snoozing. It's summer, so why wouldn't Pony sleep in? Steve looks so cute asleep!

"I need a favor."

"What?" They asked.

"Our hot water isn't workin and Greg is goin to fix it today so can I take a shower here?" I begged.

"Of course." Darry said hugging me.

"Thanks." I took my clothes with me and went to take a shower. I grabbed a towel and rag from under the sink and hopped in.

I opened up the curtain and the door opened. In walked a half asleep Pony. I hurriedly pulled the curtain closed.

"Oh my God Shelby I'm sorry! I didn't hear the water running. I'm so sorry. Steve's gonna kill me." He said.

"Pony it's fine. It was an accident. Steve won't touch you if he doesn't know and even if he did know, I wouldn't let him." I assured him. He walked out and I stepped out and put my clothes on.

Pony's POV

I woke up still half asleep. I went to the bathroom to take a shower. As I stepped in I didn't hear the water at all but I saw a naked Shelby getting out of the shower! I must admit she was built real good and I wanted to stare but Steve would kill me so I shielded my eyes saying "Oh my God Shelby I'm sorry! I didn't hear the water running. I'm so sorry. Steve's gonna kill me."

"Pony it's fine. It was an accident. Steve won't touch you is he doesn't know and even if he did know, I wouldn't let him." I walked out and I didn't try to erase what I saw. I kind wanted to remember.

Shelby's POV

I was all ready and went to the kitchen. Steve was still asleep.

"Sis, act like you don't know about his birthday. We all 'forgot' ok." Soda told me.

"Ok Soda. I'm gonna go wake sleepin beauty up."

"He's a heavy sleeper."

"I'll get him up. Trust me."

I walked up to Steve. I laid down beside him and got under the covers. I moved my hands over his chest, He didn't move. I rubbed his back, he didn't move. Then I knew what to do. I smirked and moved my hands toward the front of his boxers, he started to move a little. I stuck my hands in his boxers, he slightly smiled, he's awake. I kissed his cheek saying "I not goin further till you wake up."

"Babe, I'm wide awake."

"Good, time to get ready for work then." I jumped up.

"I don't want to go today." He groaned.

"I don't care. Leah and Soda are goin on a date again. We're goin with them on a double date." I whispered seductively in his ear.

"Let's get this day over with then." He said kissing me.

"I see you found a better way to wake him up than pouring cold water on him. I might have to try that sometime." Soda laughed.

"I'll teach Leah how to if you're nice to me."

"Thanks Sis, but she already knows how." He smirked.

"Sodapop Curtis have you been havin fun with my best friend." I joked.

"Just as much as you have with mine."

Steve got dressed and we all had chocolate cake. Steve drove us in my car. He seemed upset, probably because everyone 'forgot' about his birthday. We pulled in the DX and opened up. When rush hour ended and the boys came in we got ready to leave. Leah picked up Soda in Darry's truck. She got out and we hugged. Soda got in to drive and I walked over to the window.

"I'll call you when we leave ok."

"Ok, we'll be ready!"

We left and Steve drove.

"Where do you want to go?" I asked.

"I have a place picked out for us sweetheart."

"Ok. I can't wait." I kissed his cheek. We pulled up to some hill, you could see all of Tulsa from here.

"Steve's it's beautiful!" I said in aw.

"So you like it?"

"Like it, I love it baby."

"I wanted to take you somewhere special today sweetie. You told me you like to watch the sunset and you can see it great from here."

"You can see it and it's beautiful! I love you so much Steve."

"I love you too hone." He rolled the roof down. We snuggled, watched the sunset, and made out. When the sunset was over we hopped in the backseat.

"The best for last." He said taking my shirt off.

"Definitely." I ripped off his shirt too. He quickly unclasped my bra. We kicked off our shoes and socks. He raised up and leaned over the drivers seat to roll up the roof. When it was up I grabbed him and quickly pulled him back.

"Damn babe, you're ready." He laughed.

"You weren't fast enough." I shrugged. He pulled off my pants taking my underwear with them. I took off his pants also taking his boxers with them. He put on a condom. He didn't waste time, he went right in, catching me off guard and he noticed.

"Is that what you want babe." He smirked.

"That's amazing." He started thrusting. I just moaned and started grinding my hips into his. He kissed me passionately. I thought it had been only a few minutes but it had been 2 hours!

"Steve we got to go now!"

"Baby why?"

"Because Soda and Leah can't come home till I call them."

"Ok." He whined. We got dressed and I called Soda.

"Sorry Soda we lost track of time. We'll be there in 5 min. Ok."

"Yeah we're ready!"

"Ok bye."

"Bye Sis." We hung up.

"Ready babe?" Steve asked."Yeah." We drove to the Curtis house.

Steve's POV

We pulled up and no body was home.

"Shelby they ain't here."

"Well we can still go in and start where we left off." She said rubbing my leg. Yeah, I'm going in.

"Ok babe." We walked in and....

Soda's POV

I hung up the phone smiling.

"They'll be here in 5 min. guys."

"Ok." We heard the car pull up. They walked in "Surprise!" We all yelled. You could tell he was surprised. "I thought you all forgot."

"We'd never forget." We said. I went up an hugged him. I whispered in his ear "You're my best bud. I couldn't forget. You're my brother. I hope this is your best birthday ever and maybe this time next year you'll be married. Whose knows maybe exceptin one of you're own."

He whispered "Thanks Soda. I'm glad I have a brother like you. I hope you're right, I plan on marrin here." We both smiled.

Steve's POV

After I finished talking to Soda I turned around smiling about what he said. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

"Happy birthday Stevie." Shelby said hugging me.

"I loved my present by the way."

"That wasn't your present, that was just an add on."

"You knew about this the whole time didn't ya."

"Yup. Soda said to bring a happy Steve and that's what I did."

"You did a good job babe."

"Hey McCoy, Sydni. How's the married life treatin ya?" Skylar asked.

"It's great!" They said.

"What's the best part Thomas?" Dally smirked with Sky on his lap.

"Shut up." Thomas joked.

"Ok it's cake time!" Soda shouted.

"Ya!" We all cheered.

"Who made the cake?"Darry asked.

"It's amazing!" Everyone said but Soda and Shelby.

"Shelby made it." Soda said.

"You made this?" I asked.

"Yeah my grandma showed me how to cook."

"Yeah, she's mine guys and I'm not sharin the cake." I joked.

"That's where you're wrong Randle. She was MY baby sister first, I loved her first, I held her first, she loved ME first, so she was MINE first and she will always be MINE. She deserves respect and the best and that's what she'll get and I'll see to that huh Randle."

"Greg!" Shelby yelled at him.

"Yes Greg you'll see to it and I'll make your job easy." I answered calmly even though I was a little scared.

"My job has never been easy. You try comfortin a girl who has gone through what she's been through. She always came to me. I'm not complainin, I'm glad she did but it wasn't easy."

"I'm sorry Greg." I said.

"Don't be sorry. It's your birthday. I was just warnin ya so I don't have to kill you. You're better than the last jerk she had." That made me feel better some how.

"Present time!" Soda shouted.

"Presents guys, I didn't need all this." I whined.

"Yes you do, you earned it. You work hard everyday." Shelby said rubbing my shoulders.

"Ok." I said.

"Here, this is from me and Leah." Soda said cheerfully. It was a new pair of jeans.

"Thanks Soda and Leah."

"This is from me and Darry." Lauren said. They got me a new shirt.

"Thanks guys."

"Open mine!" Shelby said excitedly. She got me a new blade, new boots, a cap, and a heater.

"Thanks babe." I kissed her cheek.

"I didn't get a kiss Stevie." Soda joked.

"You'll like ours the best." Two and Timber handed me theirs. It was a 24 pack of beer.

"Here Steve." Pony gave me his and Ashley. It was a new belt.

"Here's the one from us Steve." Chandra said giving me hers and Johnny's. It was a gift card from the Blades and More store.

"This is from us guys, Nate, Hunter, Greg, and me." Blake said. They gave me a jumping cable and a tool set.

"This is from me and Syd." Thomas said. It was a gift card from the Dingo.

"Here Steve, I promise you'll like this the best," Sky smirked. I was scared to open Dally and Skylar's. I mean it's them, who knows what's in this bag. First there was a card that said "Because she's our sister and your are our brother and we care, we thought we'd give the gift of protection." Oh my God, what could it be.

"Come on Stevie. Open it." Dal smirked. It was a box of condoms!! I can't believe they got me a box of condoms and I just bought a new box yesterday!! Everybody laughed, even Greg. I read them the card, which made them laugh harder.

We all drank beer and watched Mickey. Each of us holding our girls.

"Ya know we've been tryin to hook up with the girls forever but we couldn't and suddenly 7 random greaser come in the picture and stole their hearts." Nate said staring at Shelby.

"You'll find that special girl out there." Shelby said. We all stayed over at the Curtis house. Each couple shared a bed in the living room. I held Shelby so close to me, like I was scared that she was gonna disappear. I kinda was, she's so pretty and amazing that every guy wants her. She could walk away from me for some soc.

"Shelby."

"Yeah."

"Will you do somethin for me?"

"Anything."

"Please, stay with me forever, I don't know what I'd do without you." I pleaded.

"I won't baby. I love you and always will." She said kissing me. I kissed her back.

"Goodnight baby doll. I love you."

"Goodnight Stevie. I love you too." I fell asleep with her in my arms. This was the best birthday ever.
