Steve's POV
"Wait I know who that is!! That's Nate!!" Soda exclaimed.
"It is!!! That son of a bitch. That means he's the guy who's been hanging with Evie. And he's always liked Shelby and hated me. I wonder if Evie's with him?" My head was spinning.
"We gotta go tell them!! Thanks Haley!!" Soda said. We ran out the door. We bumped into Greg, Dally, Darry, and Two-bit.
"Hey did you guys find her?" Greg asked.
"Yeah. Nate took her." I told them. Their faces burned red with anger. Their fist clenching.
"His truck turned left in front of the office. That's as far as we could see." Haley said.
"Thank you. Come on guys." Greg said. We ran to the vehicles to wait for the others. A couple minutes later they all came. We told them the news. They were all furious.
"We was our brother man. We trusted him!!" Hunter said pacing.
"I know. We grew up together. How could he do this!?" Blake questioned.
"He's crazy. But yall can't go crazy and end up in jail. Only I can because surely yall can get enough money to bail me out. But if we all go we're screwed." Greg said.
"No ones going to jail Greg.....I'm gonna hide the body and leave no evidence." I shrugged. I'm literally gonna kill him.
"Oh pregnant lady gonna kick some ass!! I don't need y'all's help. When I find them!!" Sydni punched the air.
"You're not kicking any ass. You're to far along to risk it." Thomas said.
"I'll kick your ass first then." Sydni for in his face.
"Calm down."
"I have no chill!!" Sydni went on.
"Maybe if he finds out she's pregnant he'll give her back and leave her alone. I don't think he's that heartless but I don't know." Ashley said hopefully. Then it hit me. The baby. If he hurts her bad enough she could lose it. My face went pale white. I guess the others noticed.
"Steve. Steve! What's wrong man!?" Soda shook me. I came out of my trance.
"Th-the baby. She could lose the baby. Soda....get me to the car." I said starting to fall. I can't lose them both.
"Woah buddy take it easy." Soda and Dally set me in Shelby's passenger seat. You guys probably think I'm overreacting but how would you feel if your girlfriend and baby was kidnapped by a psycho and was in danger? Not to good.
"She's gonna be okay and the baby's gonna be okay. We're gonna find her. Then you can kick ass okay?" Soda said trying to calm me down.
"I hope your right. You're gonna have to drive." I threw him the keys.
"I can do that." He smiled.
"Where do we even go?" Chandra asked.
"Well he turned left. And there's tire marks from where he turned so let's go that way. He was driving his truck so we can ask people I they've seen it." Greg suggested.
"Let's go to a motel first. I know we all want to find her but what good are we gonna be tired?" Haley pointed out.
"Well..what do you guys think?" Greg asked.
"I think she's right." Darry said.
"Yeah I'm tired." Two-bit yawned.
"It is almost 6 in the morning. Maybe we can think of something when we're rested up." Leah said.
"Alright. There's a motel down the road. Let's go." Greg hopped in his truck.

We bought 5 rooms. Each room had two beds and a pull out couch. Me, Soda, Pony, and Johnny roomed together. Soda and Pony shared a bed, Johnny took a bed, and I got the couch. In another room was Darry, Two-bit, and Dally. Skylar, Leah, and Sydni took a room. Timber, Lauren, Chandra, and Ashley had another one. And Greg, Blake, Hunter, and Thomas had the other room.

"Goodnight guys." I said turning off my lamp.
"Night!" They called back. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep......

I heard screaming. The scream sounded so familiar.
"Steve help me!! Please!!" A girl voice called out. It was Shelby!! It was dark and I couldn't see but I took off running towards the voice. But the voice was all around. Her piercing screams hurting my ears. I couldn't find her. She was in pain and I couldn't do anything. I felt so helpless and worthless. The screams got louder and louder. Then, I heard a laugh. It was Nate.
"She's mine now Randle. Her and the baby. Mine. You'll never see her again. And if you do....she'll be dead." His voice faded and she started screaming again. She kept calling my name and asking for help. I heard a baby cry. I was turning in circles. I just drop to my knees and started crying. I didn't know what to do.
"Somebody help me find her!! God please help!!! If you're there show me where she is!!! I can't take this!!!" I shouted. I saw a light. In the light was a building. I know that building! I've been there. My aunt use to live there. She sold it a couple years back. Nate might have Shelby there. It's in the suburbs of Oklahoma City!! We're close!!

"Steve! Steve wake up!" Soda was shaking me. I opened my eyes confused.
"Are you okay?" He asked me concerned. Pony and Johnny were behind him. Looking at me worriedly.
"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine." I assured him still slightly confused.
"You were screaming and shaking." Pony told me.
"I'm sorry. I'm gonna go for a walk." I stood up.
"Want me to come with you?" Soda asked.
"No. Go back to bed. I'll be fine."
"If you ain't back in 15 minutes I'm coming for you." He smiled.
"Ok I'll be back. I'm just gonna go down the hall." I walked out.

I walked to the end of the hall and turned right. There was no one there. I leaned against the wall and slid down it. I put my head in my heads.
"God Shelby why does this always happen to you?" I asked myself.
"Maybe because she's a bitch." I looked up. It was Evie!
"What do you want?! What'd you do with her?!" I asked frantically.
"Relax. She's fine....for now." She smirked.
"What do you want? Haven't you taken enough from me?" I snarled.
"Come with me." She pulled out a gun. My eyes widen.
"If I'm not back at a certain time you're precious girlfriend, or should I say ex-girlfriend now, is getting her brains blown out. So I wouldn't try anything. Get up." I slowly got up. She's psycho!! How did I not see this before?!?! I must've really wanted in her pants or something. Curse my raging, teenage hormones! She walked behind, keeping the gun on me at all times, and handcuffed me.
"Nice gesture. Do you really wanna fuck me that bad? I know I'm hot and all but is this really worth it?" I joked. Funny, I didn't think I'd be able to joke at a time like this. She has shot me before and planned on killing me. I guess I am that irresistible. Girls literally kill for me. Beat that Elvis!!!! Evie just nudged the gun on my back.
"Walk. My trucks out front."
"Fine. Pushy much?" Maybe I'm so nervous I'm stupid? Or maybe I'm just stupid? I don't know. I walked to her truck. When I got in the passenger seat she tied my feet and put a blindfold on me. At least I might see Shelby.

Pony's POV
"Soda hurry up!! I gotta pee!!" Soda was in the bathroom and I has to go. I was dancing.
"Just go to the one in the hall." He said. I groaned.
"Fine." I penguin waddled to the bathroom. I heard yelling. When I turned the corner I saw Evie....with a gun....pointed at Steve. I don't have to pee anymore. I stopped and listen to their conversation. Evie had the gun to his back and handcuffed him.
"Nice gesture. Do you really wanna fuck me that bad? I know I'm hot and all but is this really worth it?" He said. I mentally slapped myself. That's just not something you say to someone who has a gun to your back!! Maybe he's just so nervous he's being stupid. No. He's just straight up stupid.
"Walk. My trucks out front." Evie ordered him. What to do?! I can't go get help! They'll be gone by then. I have to follow them. I have to leave the gang a sign. I know! I'll leave my lighter Soda got me with my name on it (Pony). I dropped it in the middle of the floor. Hopefully no one will take it and they find it. I follow them out. I jumped in the back of her truck as quietly as possible. I hope I don't get shot. If I do it's all I Steve. I'm trying to save his butt right now. Evie pulled out. No going back now. I hope the gang finds my lighter and gets the hint...
