Steve's POV
I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to be a dad! I know I'm young and if you would've ask me yesterday if I wanted a kid now I would've said hell no but now that's it's happening I'm ready. I think. I hope. But I'm really nervous to. Will I be able to take care of the baby? I know I can support it with the DX and all. But what scares me most is will we actually be a family? If Shelby doesn't remember then she's gonna marry Caden. And there's nothing I can do about that. Believe me if there was something I could do I'd do it. But right now I really need to worry about myself. I know that sounds selfish but I'm fixing to have to tell Greg I got his baby girl pregnant. Oh God I'm dead.

Greg's POV
I was sitting on the couch at my house with Hunter, Thomas, and Blake. We were watching 16 and Pregnant. Yes it's a chik show but it's the only thing on.....and I kinda secretly love it. You have to admit it's not that bad. It reminds me why I don't want to have a kid. I'm just glad our girls our responsible and make sure that doesn't happen to them. I'd flip shit if I found out Shelby was pregnant. I'll be honest, I like Caden. I don't like what he's done and I hate him for doing what he did to Shelby and I'll never fully trust him but I truly believe he never meant for Shelby to get hurt. I've known the kid forever and I can tell when he's lying. He has this little vein right above his left eye that twitches when he's lying and when he talks his Adam's apple moves faster than usual. Weird right? Plus, he comes from a really good family. He's been taught to work hard and how to treat a lady. And he's got a bright future ahead of him. So if he hadn't of done the whole Evie I wouldn't mind him and Shelby getting to together. But since that happened I prefer they don't. Steve wanted to kill him and I don't blame him. I did to. Steve is a hard worker to and he treats Shelby like a queen. And this whole situation proves he really does love her. Shelby looks at Steve different than she does at Caden. I think she loves Caden but she's in love with Steve. There's a big difference. You can fall in love a lot in your life and be happy with that person and marry them and be happy but you only have one soul mate. And when you find him/her you'll know it. But that's just my opinion. Now if you'll excuse me I wanna watch 16 and Pregnant......
"Oh Greggie are you busy??" Shelby's voice rings out as she barges in the door. That didn't last long. She was with the girls, Soda, Two-bit, and Steve. Skylar isn't with them but I'm sure she's with Dally. Let's hope she's not gonna be on this show anytime soon.
"Nope. I'm not doing a thing." Note the sarcasm.
"Good because I need you all to come to the Curtis house. I'm cooking dinner."
"It depends what you're cooking?" Hunter asked.
"Yalls favorite." She said.
"Which would be...."Blake questioned.
"Beer burgers!!!!" She yelled.
"I'm in!!" Thomas yelled jumping off the couch and leaping over the table.
"Fine." I said getting up. About that time the show came back on. It showed the opening ya know?? And it has the rubber ducky and pacifier on it and says 16 and Pregnant.
"What are you watching?" Steve looked at me funny.
"It was the only thing on." I defended myself. They can not find out my love for the show!! It'll ruin my tuff boy rep.
"Oh no Steve! Our wort fears our coming true!! Greg's going through a midlife crisis!!!! And it's interacting with his feminine side!!" Two-bit said in horror.
"No I'm not! And I don't have a feminine side! Ask the guys! It was the only thing on!" I threw my hands in the air.
"Look Steve! He's throwing his hands in the air like he just doesn't care!!!" Two-bit yelled.
"Two-bit I'm sure it really was the only thing on. Leave him alone." Steve said. What in the hell is wrong with him? Usually he'd go along with him. Hmm. It's probably nothing. He might just be down in the dumps since Shelby still doesn't remember him. Poor guy. I feel sorry for him. I don't know what I'd do if she forgot me.
"Let's go. I'm hungry." I said walking out.

Steve's POV
I hope I'm on his good side now. I stood up for him when Two-bit was teasing him and I told Shelby to cook his favorite food. Maybe just maybe he won't kill me. But now I have to go to DQ and get Shelby something to eat since she can't have beer. Geez, I'm already making food runs for her. At least it's not in the middle of the night.

"Hey guys I'm gonna run to town real quick I'll be right back." I said getting in Shelby's car.
"Alright. No promises if we save you any food." Greg said. Maybe I should grab me something to because I don't think he's joking.
"Ok. I'll hurry." I said and pulled out. God please don't let anyone put him in a bad mood while I'm gone.

Blake's POV
I gotta tell them but I really don't want to. Greg's gonna be pissed and I just don't want to deal with that. Especially with the whole Shelby thing right now. I'll tell him tonight. He seems to be in a good mood and Shelby's cooking beer burgers so that'll put him in an even better mood. And Shelby saves the day again.

Shelby's POV
The beer burgers are done. If you're wanting to know beer burgers are plain burgers but each one has a can of beer in it. They're really good. It doesn't taste like straight up beer but you can definitely tell it's there. I can't wait for my DQ.....not!!!! I really want a beer burger and they look SOOOO good but I don't wanna risk hurting the baby. Since Steve put it in me he can go get me food to.
"Yall come eat!" I hollered to them. It sounded like a stampede. Literally.
"Have you guys ever had beer burgers?" I asked Soda.
"Never heard of 'em." He said.
"Really?! You're missing out!! You can use beer in chicken to." I was shocked.
"I've heard of it in chicken but never tried it. Momma never cooked with beer." He said.
"Well my Mammaw did so I do to and it's really good to. I'll make you some chicken with beer in it one day. It's just used in the batter but it's still good."
"Sounds good. MMMMMM!! Oh My God this is amazing!!" He said taking a bite.
"Of course is it I cooked it." I joked.
"This is true." He said.
"Ya dang right it is." I smiled.

Everyone was sitting down and eating now.
"Shelby aren't you gonna eat anything?" Johnny asked.
"Yeah there's plenty more in there." Darry told me.
"I'm not really hungry." I said. Lies!! I'm starving! I just hope my stomach doesn't growl.
"Are you ok? It's not like you to turn down food. Especially beer burgers. You're like a bottomless pit." Greg asked concerned.
"I'm fine. Remember when I got drunk the first time?" I said changing the subject.
"Yeah I do." Greg laughed and so did the rest of my original gang.
"What happened?" Ponyboy asked.
"Dummy over here ate to many beer burgers. I swear she ate like 20. By the end of the night she was cussing at the wall. I don't know what that wall did but it must've ticked her off. She was 12. She didn't mean to get drunk so she didn't get in trouble. Man it was funny. She chewed that thing up and down and side to side. She called it everything under the sun." Greg said laughing. Everyone was rolling.
"Hey that wall got what it deserved." I said.
"What'd it do to ya?" Two-bit asked laughing.
"I wanted it to be pink but it stayed white. And every time I asked it why it just ignored me." I smiled.
"The next morning she walked in the living room and said Greg I got a headache. Then she ran into the bathroom and puked her guts out. And since it was my idea to have beer burgers I had to help her. I held her hair up all morning long. Aunt Deb said it was good birth control because that's how it is every morning when you're pregnant." Greg said. I forgot about morning sickness!! That means every morning is gonna be like this morning. Well that's just great. Note the sarcasm.
"I wish we would've known you guys then." Pony said wiping his eyes.
"We would've had a lot of fun but it feels like we've known each other forever. I can't imagine life without you guys." I said.
"Well since everybody's in a good mood I have an announcement to make." Blake said. I could tell he was nervous.
"Go ahead." Greg said.
"Well ya see I uh... I got a scholarship at Arkansas University to play baseball. A full ride."
"That's great!! I'm so proud of you!!" Greg cheered.
"A toast to the newest member of Razorback baseball!!" Two-bit raised his beer bottle up and the rest of the gang did the same.
"I turned it down." Blake blurted out. Everyone went dead silent.
"You dead what? Why would you do that?!" Greg stood up.
"Because I don't want to go there. I'll hear back from OU next week." Blake said.
"I don't care what you want. You should've accepted it and if you got into OU then dropped it. You should've talked to me first." Greg said. Boy was he mad.
"It's my life Greg not yours!" Blake defensed hisself.
"But you deserve a better life and you could've got it!"
"I talked to them and they said if OU doesn't give me a scholarship then I can come back to them and if there's still a spot open I can have it." Blake said.
"Well you better hope OU accepts you or they still have a spot next week."
"My plan is a go to OU. Then I play for Kansas City then the Braves." Blake said.
"I know. That's been your dream ever since first grade." Greg said.
"So are you ok with it?" Blake asked.
"I don't really have a choice but yes I'm ok with it." He said and gave Blake a hug.
"Thank you." Blake said.
"I'm pregnant." Oh shit!!! Why did I say that now!! Ugh!! It just slipped!! Everyone looked at me in shook. The girls, Soda, and Two-bit because they weren't excepting me to say that now and the the boys because they didn't know.
"What? You're joking right? Well this isn't funny Shelby. I literally just had a mini stroke and heart attack." Greg looked at me.
"No...I'm not kidding." I looked down ashamed.

Greg's POV
Oh I'm gonna kill him. Forget what I thought about him this morning. I hate Caden Unger!!
"Oh he's dead!!" About that time the door slammed. I turned around to see Steve. Oh he's gonna be pissed.
"Steve did you know about this?!" I asked him.

Steve's POV
I pulled in and heard yelling. Welp, I'm dead. Whoever pissed him off just cost me my head. I walked in the door and Greg turned towards and started walking to me. Oh God. He knows about Shelby and I have food in my hands and I can't fight back. Shelby would kill me if I dropped her food.
"Steve did you know about this?!" He spat at me. I'm not gonna go right ahead and talk about the whole pregnancy thing because maybe he's talking about something else.
"What?" I asked.
"Oh great Shelby now he's really gonna be heart broken and he might just kill himself or become some homeless white guy who lives under a bridge and everyone will call him Randle the troll!! He is short enough to be one so the name will stick! No offense Steve. Go ahead tell him. No wait I will. Steve Shelby's pregnant with Caden's kid." He went from psycho man to Greg the friendly giant. He has a creepy grin on his face to. I'm dead. So so dead. I had a good start but it's gonna be a bad bad ending.
"Greg I know she's pregnant." I said.
"And what are you gonna do about it?! Come on release the Randle!!! Go kill him!! Then you can have Shelby!! Now go on get!! I'll be there in 5 minutes to help you with the body and stuff." He was talking to me like I was his killer dog or something.
"Greg it's not Caden's." He froze. I should have a fist in my face right about now.
"Take the food." I mouthed to Shelby. I might have to make a run for it. She got it and started chowing down. Guess she was hungry.
"You've been whoring around!!!" Greg yelled at Shelby. Well that took him long enough. But I'm not gonna stand here and let someone call Shelby a whore.
"IT'S MINE GREG!!! THE BABY'S MINE!! DON'T CAL HER A WHORE!!!!!" Well I'm dead now. He turned to me. He clenched his fist and pulled his arm back. I gotta take the punch. Maybe they can pull him off of me. I stiffened. But it never came. I looked up at him. He had tears in his eyes. He stormed out.
"Well that went better than I thought it would." Shelby said. I looked at her and noticed there were two burger wrappers on the counter.
"Did you eat my burger?" I asked.
"Oh you wanted one to..." She said.
"No it's fine."
"You should've said something." She said finishing off the last one. I knew I should've got four!

Shelby's POV
After I finished my burger I went after Greg.
"You're not going alone." Steve said.
"I'll be fine." I whined.
"You have to be extra careful now." He said.
"He's right. Me, Soda, and Two-bit will go with you. Steve I don't think it's a good idea for you to go. Greg might find you first. And if Dally gets back before we do don't tell him anything till we're back." Darry instructed.
"Alright." Steve said.

We went to the lot first. He wasn't there.
"Let's try Buck's. Maybe he went to go get a drink." I suggested.
"You might be right." Darry said. We ran to Buck's. When we got there we busted through down. Dally was sitting at the bar with Skylar.
"Dal! Sky! Was Greg here?!" I asked panicy and out of breath.
"He was. He grabbed a bottle of whiskey and left." Dally said.
"Literally grabbed it off the counter and walked off. He's gonna owe me extra." Buck said from behind the counter.
"Sorry Buck he's having a rough day. Here." I said throwing some money at him. I don't know how much but it was enough to cover it.
"Thanks. I knew he was acting strange. That's why I didn't go after him." Buck said. We ran out.

"Where could he be?!" I said stopping.
"I don't know but we better take a break." Soda said panting.
"Why didn't we just drive the car?" Two-bit said. Why didn't we drive the car?!?!
"Shut up Two." I said.
"Sucks you guys ain't in tip top shape like me." Darry said running in place. He looked like that deer thing off of Ice Age the Meltdown. (A/N sorry I had to throw that in there 😂 that's what I pictured in my head) He's barely sweating!! Jerkwad!! About that time we heard some ruckus in an ally.
"Should we go check it out?" I asked.
"Yeah. Greg might be blowing off some steam on some random guy." Darry said.
"But you're staying right between Darry and Two-bit and I'll right behind you." Soda said.
"Oh so you're gonna stay behind me." I said.
"Not like that. It's not like I'm chicken. I just have this weird feeling that's all. I don't want you to get hurt." He said. Awe how sweet!!
"Thanks Soda." I hugged him.
"No problem." He smiled, as usual.
"Let's go." Darry said. We walked to the ally. Sure enough it was Greg.
"Greg what are you doing?!" I yelled at him. He looked up at me.
"I was just going for a walk to think and I saw this sorry bastard with some blonde!!" Greg yelled back.
"Did you ever think that maybe that's his wife, girlfriend, friend, or sister?!?!" I asked.
"Last I checked you don't kiss your sister and you were his fiancé!!!!" What is he talking about??
"Come here Shelby!" He ordered.
"Fine. Don't be hateful." I walked over to him. When I got to him the guy was laying on his stomach so I couldn't see his face. His jacket looked familiar though. Greg kicked him over and what I saw made my stomach sick. I ran over to Soda and hugged him. We were in our little triangle again.
"See Shelby he hurt you...again." Two-bit said.
"Let's get him." Darry said.
"No leave him alone. Greg take him back to his rental house and I'll call Ty and tell him to come get him. Don't kill him!" I muffled in Soda's chest.
"Ok." Greg said.
"Shelby don't move."Soda said.
"Why not?" I asked. He was acting weird.
"I think I heard a car behind us." He said.
"Soda it's nothing." I assured him.
"I don't know sis...." BANG!!!!! My heart dropped. It was a gun shot!!
"Who's hit!!!?? Is everybody ok?!?!!" Darry asked frantically.
"We're fine." We all said.
"Must've been down the road." Greg said. I guess soda was right.
"Let's head home." I said. We started walking back. When we turned the corner was saw a girl standing over someone with a gun. We all froze.
"Goodbye Stevie." She smirked. Why did she call him that? Who is she?
"NOOOO!!!!" We all shouted and ran towards them. She looked up at us and shoot. I fell to my knees. Then it happened....
