PONYBOY:

Whenever Ponyboy gets upset, you pick out a funny book that'll help cheer him up or you watch a stupid movie to laugh. It always works and he thanks you.

DARRY:

Whenever Darry gets upset, you just comfort him cuddle with him until he cheers up. If that doesn't work, you would go to the Dingo and go out on a dinner date

SODAPOP:

Whenever Soda gets upset, he gets really upset. Since he's such a happy person, it hard for him to get happy again. You just throw in an Elvis record and slow dance with him, placing his head on your shoulder as you run your fingers slowly through his hair.

DALLAS:

It takes a lot to get Dallas to reveal his feelings. When he does, you know just the trick. You either drink together or you go to a bar and watch the bad karaoke.

TWO-BIT:

Even the funniest jokers fall. He usually quiet when you're around. He doesn't want you to see him sad. Even watching Mickey doesn't cheer him up, so you usually end up taking his hand and walking around and insulting Socs and he usually joins in. You both can't stop laughing at that.

STEVE:

It's pretty easy to tell when Steve is upset. He usually laughs, sings and talks to you when he's working on a car. If he's not, then he most likely sad. Also when you're hanging out and he just won't talk to you or when you try to kiss him and he just pulls away. When this happens, you usually just go for long drives with the radio up and the windows down.
This relaxes him and he instantly goes back to being himself.

JOHHNY:

You know not to say anything to Johnny when he's upset. You know he never wants to talk when he's upset. You let him just cry and you rub his back as he vents to you what's wrong. After that you guys go to the lot or the Drive-In and watch a movie. Before bed, you make funny faces so he has something to think about before he goes to sleep.
