BRIANNA POV:

I watched as my besr friend Ponyboy Curtis talked to Cherry Valance. I've always had a bad feeling about her. She seemed like she just wants Ponyboy just to have him. I glared at her even though she couldn't see me.

Ponyboy smiled but walked up to me. I turned my head and pretended to read my book. I heard his footsteps as he approached me.

"Hey, Brianna you wanna hang out at the libraby after school?" He offered with a smile.
I was confused. Didn't he just talk to Cherry Valance.

"Uh sure," I said slowly. "I'll see you at 4:30?" I suggested a time. He agreed.

4:30 came along and I saw Cherry Valance once again! I was about to go over and punch her.

I saw Pony  at the back table and walked over. "Hey, Pony." I smiled. "Hey, Brianna." He smiled and pulled a chair up for me.

The whole time we were doing homework and our chemistry was clicking together. I felt like I could actually talk to him without getting nervous. He was my crush and I wanted to kiss him. 

I noticed that Cherry kept looking at him and he would smile at her. I was getting heated and I had enough.

"Ponyboy, what does she have on me?" I finally asked. He looked shocked. "What?" He just answered. "Cherry. She keeps staring at you and you're just smiling back at her!" I shouted. She looked over as she was walking out. He turned back to me.

"Brianna listen to me! She always tries to flirt with her because she knows I like you. I told her. She won't back off. I tried telling her but she won't listen. The only reason I smile back is so she won't bug me. I think you're the perfect girl for me, Brianna." He whispered the last part. I was sorta confused.

"I'm good enough for you?" I saw the look on his face.

"Are you kidding? Of coruse you are," He told me. "You know how long I've wanted to tell you? I even ask Soda for advice on how to ask you out." He explained. I finally walked over and put a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Ponyboy. I just got jealous." I stared into his eyes. He suddenly got lost in mine and leaned in for a kiss. It felt magical so right.

After we pulled away, the librarian sent us to the principles office and we got detention for PDA. It was well worth it thought because

We made out in detention.
