She said, "I was seven and you were nine I looked at you like the stars that shine." 

"Oh, Mrs. Y/L/N!" Ms. Mathews smiled. They hugged. You were the new neighbors so you went over for a dinner. "Y/N, this is Kieth." His mom introduced you to him and yours introduced him to you . You kinda just stared at each other.  You all sat down, and across the table you saw him staring at you. Only because you were staring at him.

And our daddy's used to joke about the two of us growing up and falling in love

"Race ya!" You took off and sure enough you beat him. "Who's faster now?" You yelled. He sighed. "Ok, fine. You're fast." He grimaced.

I dared you to kiss me and ran when you tried

"Truth or dare?" You two became the closest friends could ever get. "Dare." You smirked dangerously. "I dare you to kiss me." You looked at him. He started leaning in and before he could you took off. "Hey!" He called out chasing you around playfully.

I was sixteen when suddenly I wasn't that little girl you used to see

You parked your car and headed into the school. You saw your 3 month boyfriend Two-Bit Mathews. He prefers Two-Bit more. "Hey, Babe." You smiled leaning against the locker. He turned around. "Hey, Y/N." He kissed your cheek. "So I was thinking that maybe we could go see a movie and maybe have a sleepover?" He said raising a brow. You smiled. "You know I'd say yes." "Who would've thought that our two little children would fall in love with each other?" Your dads joked on a fourth of July party. You two were around a bonfire as they watched you. "I never would've guessed it."

"You tired?" Two asked you as you sat in his car after you watched a movie at the Drive-In." You shook your head. "Not at all." He wasn't either. You took a drive around Tulsa until the night high finally hit you. You staggered inside and just wanted to go to bed.

You stayed outside til' the morning light.

You finally fell asleep around 3 and woke up to Two-Bit sitting on the bench. "I'm sorry, Y/N." You kissed him before he could continue. "No, I'm sorry. I was just tired and I wanted to go to bed. We can do it maybe later today though?" You smiled. "Yeah," He nodded as you kissed.

A few years have gone and come around

We were sitting at our favorite spot in town

"This sure is a pretty view." You sighed as you surveyed the sky. You just put on Minnie  ears as he put on Mickey ones. You noticed him staring at you. "What?" You cautioned. "Can I ask you something?" You nodded. He pulled out the box and got on his knee. "Y/N, these past years have been the best and you're the one I wanna die with. Will you Y/N me?" You covered your mouth and nodded. He slipped the ring on and kissed you so hard.

You took a step into the house you grew up in. It was just like it was. Every room created flashbacks. The backyard that gave you nostalgia. "I can't believe we met here." You stared out the window with Two- Bit hand rubbing your arm. You did it though.
