That day he hung up on was the day he was announcing to you he was engaged. He called you up later that to tell you and apologize.
You swore you don't think you've ever seen someone look so happy. Ever since Darry proposed, all he's been thinking about is the wedding. You assured him that everything was fine and that she'll do anything for you.

Wedding day came, and you sat next to Johnny. He had taken a liking in you but was too afraid to tell you. When you sat down he shyly said "Hi," and you waited for the wedding to start. Darry and Ponyboy were fixing up Darry's tux as they were in. He decided he wanted both of his brothers to be his best man because he's the most important people in his life.  Ponyboy and Soda stood in their positions and everyone looked forward. You heard the sound of heels and you and everyone else turned around. His wife was in all white with a shoulder length veil. She nearly tripped from not watching where she was going. She was too focused on smiling at the man that owns the other half of her heart.

They did the simple exchange ring, vows and kisses. It was the happiest day for him and he held her to show he loved her.

At the ceremony Cherry was invited and danced with Ponyboy. Two-Bit danced with Kathy, Steve danced with Evie, Dallas danced with his girlfriend, Ariana and Soda danced with his girlfriend, Madison. You were sitting at one of the tables and saw Johnny sitting across at the other table watching you.
You got kinda nervous because you don't like when people stare at you. He slowly walked over and shifted nervously. You smiled kinda and he looked at you.

"Hey Y/N. Um... I-I was wondering if you wanted to dance with me." His voice getting softer after each word. You stared at him.
You were starting to see the features on him.
You nod slowly. "Yes, Johnny I would love to dance with you."
