Once upon a time, I believe it was a Tuesday

when I caught your eye

It was a random day and you stopped at the DX for a Pepsi. You walked up to the good looking greaser at the register. You've seen him around but never really talked to him. Until today

We caught on to something

"It's all on me angel face." He winked at you. You smiled at that. "Thanks!" He smiled and asked for your number which you gladly accepted. "I'll see you tomorrow." You nodded.

You look me in the eye and told me you loved me

1 MONTH LATER:

You lasted a month. You couldn't believe it. You didn't think you'd have him this long.
You were laying on your bed with your head on his chest. He was running his hand through your hair before, "Can I tell ya somethin'?" You nodded and stared at him. "I'm sorry it might've took so long, but I just wanted to tell you that I love you. Forever and always." Your heart leaped out of your chest. "I love you too Soda." He kissed you as you cuddled for the rest of the afternoon.

This thing is breaking down we almost never speak

Out of nowhere Soda just made time to stop seeing you. He wouldn't call you anymore and you barely ever saw him anymore. You tried texting him, but you didn't get a reply.

And I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called

and you feel so low you can't feel nothing at all

You felt like all you were doing was waiting for a text back from Soda. He was being so distant and no longer had that same effort of affection he once had.

You flashback to when he said, "Forever and always"

Looking back you remembered how he told you he would never leave you. You believed every word he said to you. After all, he did tell you he loved you.

It rains in your bedroom, everything is wrong

He made you feel so at home like nothing could ever happen. He was your knight in shining armor. Every time you go in your room, it just reminds you of Soda. That bastard that ripped your heart to shreds.
