It's been 3 months since Delanie has transitioned. She has never felt more alive. Over time, she faced a new problem.

She was crushing on Dallas Winston. She felt this way ever since she graduated. She just couldn't tell if he felt the same way.

Dallas Winston had looked at Delanie like no other girl. She had something about her that he was attracted to. It could've been her long brown hair, or those piercing blue eyes with a perfectly drawn eyeliner. Maybe it was those rose red lips that drew him in.

"No," He thought. "I can't like her. She's the Curtis' sister." He felt as if he would anger Soda and Ponyboy going out with their sister.

It was a normal day at the Curtis house when Delanie walked in. She looked around and noticed the usual.  She saw her brothers doing brotherly things and Johnny and Dallas smoking. Steve and Two-Bit eating chocolate cake and roasting each other.

Something about Dallas had caught Delanie's eye. He was smoking but there was something about him. His hands were shaking and he looked nervous. She had never Dallas like this before. She went over to him. 

"Hey, are you okay?" Delanie asked sweetly. That soft spoken voice of hers struck Dallas even harder.

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine," He faked smiled. "I'm just anxious." He admitted.

"About what?" Delanie asked. Dallas paused for a minute.
"It's really nothing important." Dallas said, trying to get out of this. "No please tell me."
She begged. He sighed. Those blue eyes with such a desperate twist raging from within. He couldn't say no. He had to tell her.

He led her to the bedroom and confessed.

"Delanie, I've had a crush on you for the longest time now. You always look so amazing, and you're so confident. You don't let any one tell you who you're gonna be and you walk around with your head held high. I have never met anyone with that much confidence. So I've wanted to tell you this for so long. What'ya say?"

Delanie was almost in tears. He had never been so deep in his life. She could see the honestly burning through his ice blue irises. And what look of hatred he had for the world, had faded once he looked at her. She had never seen him look at anyone like that. Never.

She grabbed him by the collar and lightly pressed a kiss to his lips. He then grabbed her and started to kiss a bit roughly. He couldn't stop. Neither could she. He soon tore  her shirt off and touched her all over. Since it was her first time with him, he went slow, not quite reaching 3rd base.

Dallas stepped back and smiled.

"I'd love to give us a shot." Delanie smiled.

From that day on, they promised to love each other.

Never has anyone ever held onto someone so tight.
