Dally always blamed himself for his mom's death. She died in a car accident when he was ten. She'd gone to visit him in jail and he told her to fuck off. That he hated her because she'd just stood by and let his dad abuse him. When she was driving home from the visit, her car was rammed off a bridge and she was killed instantly.
