 "Hey, Diana, I'm going to the Curtis house! You coming or not?" My brother Steve yelled up the stairs at me. I ran down them while i put my straight, medium length brown hair into a pony tail.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming, don't get your panties in a twist." I said and glared at him. He laughed and followed me out the door.

"Took you long enough though." He said and I flipped him off.

We arrived at the Curtis house and saw the gang sitting in a make shift circle on the floor and some sat on the couch.

"Randals, we're about to start playin' truth or dare, want in?" Sodapop called over to us as we walked in the door.

I shrugged, "Sure why not?" I sat down on the floor next to Pony who was my best friend. We met at school when we both were smart enough to get moved up a grade, despite the fact that I had just barely turned fourteen.

Two-bit had whispered something to Steve who nodded at him then went to pass it on to Soda. I thought nothing of it.

For the most part, I didn't get asked a lot but I was I just asked for a truth. I didn't trust these morons to give me a dare, are you crazy?!

Some of the dare the guys got were funny though. From drinking mustard, to Dal having to say two nice things about every player (which was hilarious when he got to Steve and Darry), and Johnny having to chug a beer (which I admit was also pretty funny since he hates beer).

It was now Pony's turn to take a truth or dare whichever one he chose. Soda asked him, "Pony, truth or dare?"

I could tell he was about to say truth but Two-bit cut him off, "Dare! He chooses dare!"

"You can't do that! That's not fair it's against the rules!" Pony protested and pointed at Two while I just started laughing.

"Actually, Ponyboy, that is within the rules." Johnny said and I nodded agreeing with him.

"Johnnycakes is right, Pone." I said and he huffed an annoyed sigh.

"You know I hate it when you're right." He said and pointed at Johnny as we all proceeded to laugh at him.

"Alright, fine what's my dare." Pony asked and looked at Soda who held a smirk on his face.

He quickly exchanged a look with the rest of the gang who all apparently knew what was about to happen. Way to keep me in the loop guys... -_-

"I dare you to.... kiss.... Diana!" Soda said dramatically and my eyes widened.

"Say who to the what now?" I said shocked.

I looked over at Pony who was already staring at me with a similar shocked expression. "You don't have to, if you don't-"

Pony cut me off with his lips hitting mine. I was surprised at first but melted into the kiss and began to kiss him back. We pulled apart and I stared into his grey-green eyes as he stared back into my brown ones. The gang all began to cheer and I blushed and looked down at my lap smiling.

And that my friends was the beginning of my wonderful relationship with the one and only Ponyboy Curtis.
