"Yes, Darry?"
"Do the dishes real fast before I make dinner please?"

I'm Sophia Curtis, my twin is Sodapop Curtis, Ponyboy is my baby brother and Darry is my older brother. I love them to death, besides darker hair and lighter eyes you could say I look identical to Soda. My best friends are Two bit and Steve, we always love to do stuff together, we are practically inseparable. I'm also friends with Dallas and Johnny.
After I did the dishes, the gang came over for dinner. Darry made his famous lasagna which in my opinion is very delicious! I walked in the living room and was greeted with a hug, actually multiple hugs.
"Hey Sophia!"
"Hey Two!"
He picked me up and spun me around, I laughed.
"Hey I still need to give her a hug!"
Two put me down and made room for Steve. He hugged me and I gladly returned it.
"How ya doing Sophie?"
"I'm doing good Steve!"
He pulled back and we both smiled at each other. Johnny and Dallas walked in, my heart beat a little faster. I've had a secret crush on Dallas for a while now, but I doubt he will ever look at me like that. So I just try to contain myself and be his friend.
"Hey Sophia"
I went up to Johnny and gave him a side hug.
"Hey Johnny!"
He lightly smiled at me and went into the kitchen. I went up to Dallas and flicked his head, that's I usually greet him. He smirked at me and did the same gesture.
"Hey Sophia"
"Hey Dallas, you hungry?"
"Yeah I actually am"
I waved for him to come to the kitchen and he gladly followed. We all sat down at the dining table, Darry said a prayer thanking him for the food we have on the table and we said amen. We all ate with conversations in the middle of the meal.

Dallas has asked me to go to the Nightly Double with him and I happily obliged. Johnny and Ponyboy wanted to come with us, Two said that he would come join us if he wasn't too drunk.
We arrived at the Nightly Double and we of course went in the illegal way because it was the easiest way. We sat down and two girls sat right in front of us, one had short black hair and the other had long red hair. Dallas started to evilly grin, I rolled my eyes knowing that he's up to his usual tricks. Johnny left hastily saying that he was gonna get a coke with Ponyboy going up with him. Great, now I'm with alone while Dal flirts with these girls. As I said Dallas went to the red head's ear and did some whispering that made her giggle. I have no right to be mad but I shot up from my seat and stormed off.
"Sophia! Where ya going?"
He grabbed my wrist and I jerked my head to look at him.
"Well! I'm not just gonna sit around and watch you flirt with girls all night!"
"Why does that bother you so much?"
"I came to see the movies with friends but I'm not gonna sit around and listen to that!"
"Sophia why are you so mad?!"
"I LIKE YOU OK!!??"
Dallas was taken aback. He let go of my wrist and looked at me.
"You...what?"
I just realized what I said and looked down.
"I, I...like you"
I mumbled out to only where he could hear me. He got his finger and put it underneath my chin to look up at him.
"Why didn't ya say anything doll?" He spoke softly.
"I didn't think you'd like me back..."
He did something so unexpected of him, he brought my face up to his lips and landed on mine. This was the total opposite of Dallas, it was soft and sweet yet filled with so much passion. We he pulled away I was blushing like an idiot, he chuckled.
"Cmon, I don't really like this movie anyway, let's go find the boys and go home"
I only nodded, not wanting to say anything else so I could think about the kiss. But he cut my thoughts short.
"Hey, one more question?"
"Yeah?"
He took a deep breathe.
"Would..would you like to be my girl?"
My eyes widened, he wants to be my boyfriend? Without hesitation I crashed my lips onto his and he returned it. I pulled away.
"Yes Dallas, I would love"
He actually smiled a real smile, this was rare. He swung his arm over my shoulders, pulling me close to him while we search for the two best friends.
