Today was the day that Soda wasn't feeling well and well he has mixed emotions during his day so.....this how it went.

Darry woke up to whining in the house and was questioning who it was.

"PONY! SHUT YOUR TRAP!" Darry yelled from his room.

"That's not me Darry" Pony said from the kitchen.

"UGHHHHHHHHH!!!" Soda yelled from his room.

Darry got up from his bed and walks into the room.

"What's wrong Soda?" Darry asked

"I don't feel good Dar I feel sick" Soda said

"Are you sure your not playing games with me?" Darry said

"No I'm serious and I think I'm gonna hurl" Soda said getting up from his bed.

Soda then got off and ran to the bathroom and made it on time to throw up.

"Now do you believe me" Soda said to Darry.

"Well Pony is gonna be at school and I'm going to work" Darry asked.

"I'll be fine Darry" Soda said
But then the door opened to Two-Bit, Johnny, and Steve.

"HEYYYY CURTIS!!!" Two-Bit yelled

"Hey guys" Pony said

"Where's Soda?" Steve asked

"In the bathroom" Pony pointed to the door.

Steve walked to the bathroom seeing Soda laying on the floor.

"What's wrong Sodapop?" Steve asked

"Oh nothing just dying inside" Soda said while coughing.

"Your funny come on get up, are you going to work?" Steve asked

"No" Soda said getting up

"What why?" Steve said

"Because I'm sick" Soda said

"Huh you haven't been sick in a long time" Steve said

"I know I wonder how?" Soda said

"Hey Soda!" Two-Bit said patting Soda's back.

"Hi Two-Bit" Soda said sniffing

"What's wrong with you?" Two-Bit said.

"I'm sick" Soda said

"Huh noted" Two-Bit said

Dallas then came through the door.

"Hey guys what's going on?"Dallas said jumping on to the couch.

"Soda is sick today" Two-Bit said turning on the tv with his usual cake and beer.

Dallas then chuckled.

"Dallas move I'm gonna lay down" Soda said wrapping himself with a blanket.

"Ugh I just got comfortable" Dallas whined.

"MOVE! NOW!" Soda yelled at Dallas.

"Okay okay" Dallas got a bit scared and moved by Johnny.

"Thank you" Soda said.

"Damn Soda I never heard you this mad" Two-Bit said.

"Shut your trap Two" Soda said.

Dallas and Steve chuckled.

"Okay guys I'm off to work and Pony is off to school and Steve and Two-Bit aren't y'all going to school?" Darry said.

"Na!" Two-bit and Steve said at the same time laughing.

"Okay look after Soda" Darry said.

They all nodded and waved bye.

"Okay Soda what do you want" Steve said.

"Can you close the curtains please" Soda said.

"Why?" Steve questioned.

"JUST CLOSE THE DAMN CURTAINS STEVE! IT'S TOO DAMN BRIGHT IN HERE!!!" Soda yelled.

"Okay I'll close them" Steve jumped up and closed them.

"Dallas can you bring me another blanket please" Soda asked.

"Ughhhh really" Dallas whined.

"DALLAS I SWEAR TO GOD IM GONNA BEAT YOUR ASS!" Soda yelled again at Dallas.

"Alright alright I'll get one clam down" Dallas again jumped up and went to get another blanket.

"Clam down my ass huh" Soda mumbled.

"Here" Dallas said as he threw a blanket at Soda.

"Thanks Dal" Soda said

"Johnny can you make me soup please" Soda asked.

"Alright" Johnny said.

"Hey Soda me and Dally are going to get some medicine to help ya" Steve said.
"Alright Thanks" Soda said.

"We will be right back" Steve said.

"Two-Bit stay" Dallas said to Two-Bit.

"Roof" Two-Bit said sarcastically and then turning back to the tv.

Few minutes later...
"Okay Soda I'm done" Johnny said giving Soda the bowl.

"Thanks Johnny" Soda said.

"No problem" Johnny said smiling.

"Wow Johnny this is good how did you know how to cook?" Soda asked.

"Umm I learned from a recipe book I saw" Johnny said

"Hey we're back" Steve said.

"Here is your medicine Soda" Dallas passed the medicine to Soda.

"Thanks guys" Soda said smiling.

"I think I'm gonna take a nap in my room" Soda said getting up from the couch and walking with his blanket around him to his room.

"Alright I'll check up on ya" Steve said.

"Yea yea" Soda said.

After a 5 hours of Soda taking his nap...

"Hey guys I'm back from school" Pony said closing the door behind him.

"Hey Pony" The boys said waving.

"How's Soda?" Pony asked.

"Eh he is doing fine he is taking a nap in your room" Dallas said.

"He has very mixed emotions going through him right now" Steve said.

Pony walked to his and Soda's room and saw Soda taking half of the bed.

"Hey Soda" Pony whispers.

"Soda hey" Pony whispers again.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT!" Soda yelled while his face was in the pillow.

Pony was wide eyed and was shocked that his brother had yelled at him like that.

"Soda it's me Pony" Pony said.

"Oh Pony sorry I didn't mean to yell at you like that" Soda said facing him.

"It's alright sorry for disturbing your nap" Pony said.

"It's okay I was already awake" Soda said.

"I missed you little brother" Soda said.

"Missed me, I'm here everyday Soda?" Pony chuckled and smiled.

"I know I just I don't know I feel weird" Soda said.

"Let me check your temperature I'll be right back" Pony said getting up.

Pony then got up and trying to find a thermometer to check Soda's temperature.

"Alright I found one" Pony said

"Open your mouth" Pony told Soda.

"Hmm well your temperature is kinda high but is getting a little lower" Pony said thinking like a doctor.

"Alright Dr. Pony" Soda joked.

"Okay just lay down for now" Pony said.

"Wait Pony can you read me a book please" Soda asked Pony.

"Alright I'll read you one" Pony said.

"But first I need the sunlight" Pony said getting up to the windows.

"Wait no no n" Soda said motioning Pony to not to do it.

"AHHHHH IT'S SO BRIGHT CLOSE THEM PONY CLOSE THEM!"Soda said yelled.

"Okay no sunlight" Pony said closing the curtains.

"I'll just use the lamp" Pony said turning on the lamp.

"That's better" Soda said getting comfortable.

"Alright I'll start reading" Pony said.

20 min later
Pony came out of the room and left to let Soda take a nap.
Darry had came back from work and went to the room quietly to check on Soda.

"How was Soda Pony?" Darry asked.

"He's fine he just needs a little nap that's all" Pony said.

"Okay thanks for taking care of your brother" Darry said.

"No problem Darry" Pony said.

Darry went over to hug his little brother and ruffled his hair he was happy to see his brother helping out and Pony was happy to help and they both looked at their brother sleeping peacefully and left out to let him sleep.
