I woke up to the blinding sun light shining through my bed room window. I groaned. Did I really have to wake up? I get up hoping everything was just a dream. I looked over at the clock 12p.m. Soda must be at work I thought as I got up and made my bed.

I walked to the living room and grabbed a pack of cigarettes. TwoBit came in. "I'm home!" He yelled and walked in. "Hi TwoBit." I said. He hasn't seen me since...it happened. I mean I have not left the house. I had no where to go. I really only hung out with Dally and Johnny.

"Hey Pony. Any cake?" He asked with a grin. "In the fridge." I replied and put a cigarette to my mouth and sat on the chair. Mikey Mouse was on and I heard TwoBit singing along from the kitchen. "It's the Mikey Mouse club house!" He sang way off tune. I smiled TwoBit was great at making people laugh.

"What times Soda gon be home?" He asked me walking in with all of the cake that Darry and soda left. I wasnt hungry anyways. "Pony?" He spoke up. "Huh? Oh. round 5. You can just hang here till then if you'd like. Not like I'm doing anything." I mumbled the last part.

He walked away glancing at me before he completely sat down in front of the t.v. I hated this. "I'm fine okay?!" I yelled. "What?" He asked. "You don't need to feel all bad for me. I'm over what happened!" I said even louder. "Pony I-" I cut him off by walking out of the house.

I tossed my cigarette down and stepped on it. "We don't want another fire now do we?" A voice said. It was a soc. I didn't say anything just turned around and started walking but he grabbed me. "Let me go!" I yelled and he coverd my mouth and pulls a blade to my neck. "Get him!" He yelled. A bunch of Socs surrounded me. The soc threw me to the ground and they all started kicking me.

"Come on we won the rumble!" I yelled but I was ignored. I could feel the bruises forming on my rib cage but I knew better then to show them my pain. So I just laid there and took my beating.

"Now come on leave him alone." A voice said and the all stopped. "Get out of here!" TwoBit yelled running out of the house. I looked up and saw Cherry, that's right we had a summer project to work on together.

"You okay buddy?" TwoBit asked. I sat up and started bawling. I felt like a wuss crying like that infront of Cherry so I tried to hold it back. It hurt to breath.

TwoBit sighed. "All right let me see." He said and lifted my shirt off. "Aww Pony you're bleeding. Let's get you inside." He said. I tried to stand but fell back down.

Cherry and TwoBit let me put my arms around their necks and carried me in.
