So, a couple days ago I was reading the Outsiders again (lord I don't even know the amount of times I've read it) and I get to the part when Pony mentions his parents' dying in the auto wreck. Pony, says that his dad was only 40 when he died. I guess that just went over my head the first hundred times, but that made me realize when Darry was born,  Mr. Curtis (Darrel Senior) was only 20. Typically, the wife or woman in a relationship is younger than the male, obviously not all the time, but if that was the case with the Curtis parents, Mrs. Curtis was probably 18 or even younger when  she had Darry. So that got me thinking, did they marry even before that, or was Darry born before they were married? I know this is a stretch, since Mrs. Curtis could have been older, and stuff but it's interesting to think about. (Aww imagine little Darry being the ring bearer at his parents wedding)

My dad was watching TV and it goes, "brought to you by chocolate milk." So I said, "some kids my age man...they forget about drinking milk," and I just started cracking up. PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE GETS THIS, COMMENT IF YOU DO.
