"You were right about you said about Archie," Betty said as I turned to face her "Sometimes it's hard to admit things to yourself. My mother is crazy, i'm scared I'll never get the chance to see Polly again," Betty continued

"We'll find a way through this Betty don't worry, Archie might not be crushing on you but he still cares about you" I say

"He's legit miserable without you, if that's any consolation. My mother says that a friend is better than a boyfriend. Maybe this is one of those times," Veronica said as the three of us hugged each other

After classes ended we all sat in the lounge to relax and just talk as Reggie was talking to his friends about how he was being interrogated by Sherif Keller

"Speaking of which, what were you and Kevin doing? Or does being with Sherif's son gave you a free pass" Reggie commented

"Don't listen to him" Betty said

"Don't worry, his comments don't seize me," Kevin replied

"They shouldn't to anyone, he's just playing around," I patt Kevin's shoulder walking over to Jughead

"I mean if a kid at Riverdale killed Jason wouldn't it be some jock, right?" Reggie continued as I rolled my eyes

"Isn't it always some spooky, scrawny, internet troll too busy writing his manifesto's to get laid. Some smug, moody, serial killer fanboy freak like... Jughead" he stated as I shot him a glare

"Watch your mouth Asshole!" I moved forward as Jughead stopped me and didn't let go of my hand until I came back and stood next to him

"Why are you on his side, you're too hot to mingle with wierdo's like these," Reggie said "how was it Suicide Squad, you didn't do stuff to the body...like after," he asked

"It's only because of you that I'm standing back or else I would've knocked his senses out," I mumble as Jughead chuckled as I saw an agitated Archie struggling with the vending machine

"What do you want?"

"A Chocolate bar," he said as I exchange his money with mine

"It's called Necrophillia Reggie," Jughead teased "can you spell it?" Jughead said as we smirked

"Hey, shut the hell up Reggie," Archie demanded pushing Reggie back

"Why do you care Andrews?"

"Nothing just leave him alone"

"Holy crap, did you and Donnie Darko kill him together? Or was it a pervy brother thing that you two did, huh?" Reggie said as Archie snapped pushing him away as those two broke into a fight as Reggie hurled Archie across the vending machine as Archie's back hit the machine the glass broke lose cutting through my sweater

"Archie!" Archie collapsed on the floor as we rushed to his side as Reggie backed away "Kevin" I called out as he got Archie up and took him to the nurse room

Seeing a smirking Reggie I nailed my heel into his feet as sreamed in pain and punched him as he stepped back and kicking between his legs as he kneeled down in pain "Know your place peasant," I said

"Katherine your arm!" Betty and Veronica rushed to my side and taking me to the nurse

"sit here" Jughead said as he noticed me entering with a bleeding arm while he stayed by side till I get it bandaged

"Is Archie okay?" I ask watching over him as we took him to his house as Mr. Andrews took him in and I left for the Pep Rally

"Ready Girls, remember I need everything perfect today," Cheryl announced as Betty and Veronica helped me put on the uniform

As we walk out I see Archie and Ms. Grundy talking as I ignore him walking over to the bleachers "Are you going to come over or just watch from here like a stalker," I said as Jughead laughed

"I'm going to do what's right, We're going to tell Weatherbee at least I am," Archie stated as I saw his black eye

"Archie" I said touching it and I pulled my hand back "I should go...practice" I say walking away

"What I'm not gonna hug in front of the whole town," Jughead laughed as the two boys smiled "So why don't we just do that bro thing where we nod like douches and mutually suppress our emotions?" He said

"Ya, but like friends"

"To be discussed" Jughead stated "Over many burgers and many days," he said as Archie nodded "watch out, she doesn't forgive easily" Jughead stated pointing over to Katherine who was talking to Veronica and Betty

"I know," he says as Jughead takes his place on the bleachers "Jughead, come sit here" My dad said seeing him

"Hello Mr. Lockwood" He greeted

"It's Charlie for you, no need to be formal we're all the same" dad said patting his back as he smiled and the rally began

The Pussycats performed as we started our performance with Veronica and me leading alongside Cheryl as we heard the crowd cheer as the performance came to an end Coach announced the Bulldogs while Betty and I held the banner

The team ran forward tearing apart the banner as we all cheered and I saw Cheryl running away as I and Veronica went after her and comforted her

After the game the three river vixens went to pops for milkshakes enjoying as they heard the door open and Veronica and my eyes followed only to be met with Archie and Jughead

"You want to join us?" Betty asked

"Yes but only if you're treating," Jughead said as we laughed

"Veronica Lodge," Ronnie introduced herself

"Jughead Jones...the 3rd" he said settling in between me and Ronnie as I shared my milkshake with him

As we enjoyed our time together, I get a call from dad asking me to meet him at the bar as I see everyone off as I leave for South side

"Dad? You in here?" I asked walking in the Serpent bar as we're welcomed by a huge crowd scattered across the bar

"Wanna dance," An almost drunk guy asked blocking my way as I was making my through the crowd

"Not interested," I say moving past him as I reach for my phone the guy pulls me by the waist as I jab him with my heel's tip and hitting him with a tray making him lose his balance

"Don't ever touch a woman without her consent," I hissed as he stepped forward and I smashed a glass on his head as the lights went on and I heard the crowd cheer

"That's your Queen," FP commented stepping forward with Dad beside him, a proud smile on both of there faces, "Welcome back Katherine," FP said as we hugged each other

"Happy to be back Mr. Jones," I say as he smiles "FP" he says as I nod chuckling

"Welcome back your leaders to the crew," FP announced as everyone cheered as I, Dad and FP toasted as I wore my jacket

"You've gotten some moves over the summer girl!" Toni compliments as we hug and laugh around soon joined by Sweetpea and Fangs as we enjoy our time together

"Did you guys hear about Jason Blossom?"

"Hmm, North Side spoiled brat, I fought him once," Sweetpea said as Toni and I gave him a look "What, don't worry I didn't get kill him" he says as I roll my eyes

"Don't say this in North-Side or they'll think the serpents are involved in this," I state as he nods "I know"

"Did you tell Jughead that you're a part of the crew? He didn't join but he's a serpent by birth," Fangs asked

"I didn't, if he wants to join, he'll do it when he wants no one from the crew can force him for that" I state as they all nod

"Katherine's right," FP says walking to us "Jughead will join when he feels like, just wait for when he comes" he continued as I smirked watching the others

"how are you so sure about Jughead darling" Dad asked

"I'm not called the Queen of Serpents in vain dad, he's my friend I know he'll come," I explain as Dad nods smiling. We all spent the night talking and enjoying as Dad and I head back calling it a night
