It was a cold and windy evening in the Hidden Leaf Village. It has been a year since I since the Nine-tailed fox attacked the village. The village was still being repaired from the attack, but it was better than the year of the attack.  Everyone in the village except for a few were getting ready to call it a night after hours of working on the repairs or just doing their daily jobs.

One of the few that wasn't sleeping was a tall and beautiful fifteen-year-old female with a fair skin tone. She had shoulder-length brown hair and grey eyes. She wore a purple shirt, black pants, and grey ninja sandals.

The woman was none other than Kohana Sarutobi, the youngest daughter of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, and the fourth member of Team Minato, and one of the only two remaining members alive.

Kohana was currently walking through the outskirts of the village, looking around for any kind of trouble within the village, when she suddenly heard a strange sound coming from nearby.

'That sounds like a baby.' She thought, looking around for the source of the strange sound that, after a few minutes of listening, sounded like a baby's crying.

Kohana narrowed her eyes suspiciously at the random sound of a baby crying out on the outskirts of the village and started following the direction she could hear it coming from.

She followed the direction of the crying until she reached a massive black shrine with two brown fox statues in a sitting position in front.

"I recognized this shrine from history lessons in the academy," She said, looking around for the baby when she spotted a black bundle next to the statue on the left.

She took a step closer and saw that the bundle was a young boy with short white hair and golden eyes wrapped up in a black blanket in a grey bassinet.

"Hey, little man, everything ok," She said, picking up the baby boy as she noticed a note in the bassinet."What this?" She questioned, opening the message and reading it.

To whoever is reading this, baby boy is Hikaru. He is my son and only child with the love of my life. He is too young to come with me where im going. So for those who find him, keep him safe from danger and the crazy Warhawk of the villages, one day we meet again.

As she finished reading the letter and stored it away in her pants, she put Hikaru back in that bassinet now that he had finally stopped crying and had fallen asleep. 

The next moment a rusting was heard from the bushes. A few minutes later, a fox white as snow stuck its head out of the bushes.

"Hello, did you see who left the baby here?" She asked.

The fox simply shook its head, saying no, and glanced at the baby in the bassinet taking in his appearance.

"I see. Thank you, Fox. I will take him, and my father will figure out what to do with the boy," She said, nodding her thanks to the fox as she headed to the Hokage's office.

Hiruzen Sarutboi was in his office filling out paperwork when a knock was heard on the door.

"Come in!" He called out, not looking up from the stack of paper.

Soon as he said that, Kohana walked into the room carrying the bassinet with Hikaru beside her right.

"Kohana, have you found your patrol?" He asked. "It seems you found something during your patrol. Where did that bassinet come from?" He asked the moment he noticed it in her hand.

"Yes, I finished my patrol. I haven't found any more hidden threats in the village left by the Rouge Orochimaru. Believe that he is entirely out of the village despite his injuries and no lab either," She reported."However, at the end of my patrol, I heard crying and found this baby boy near the Kitsune shrine."

"Kitsune shrine, nobody has been there since Reina, the daughter of Kitsune clan head, passed away," Hiruzen said."The clan leadership is in shambles since she passed away before having a kid, and her father is too old to keep leading the clan."

"I believe that whoever left him there has a relationship with a member of the clan, and this was their child," Kohana said, reaching into her pocket."They left his note in the bassinet." She said, heading the message to the Third Hokage.

The Third Hokage took the note and read it, and his eyes widened at the writing."This writing it can't be," He muttered, knowing this handwriting.

"You know the handwriting?" She asked.

"Yes, it is one of my student's handwriting, but there is no way he could have had a child," Hiruzen said."Kohana will take Hiakru to the hospital for and DNA test and then to the orphanage until I can find a proper Guardian ain for him. He will be known as Hikaru Suzuki. We don't know who the mother is, and it is best not to use the father's surname. I don't even know which one he was going to receive."

"I understand. I drop him off right away; being the son of the Yoninin is a dangerous burden if that note is one of your male students, but which one? His eyes and hair hint at both, but then again, it can be the mother has white hair or golden eyes depending on if the father, Orochimaru or Jairayia, leading more to the first one base on how it was written," She said looking at the baby boy blinking at her calmly and then at the old man.

"Take him. We find out soon enough who the parents are at the hospital," The Third Hokage said, putting the note inside his desk.

Kohana nodded and immediately left the office to drop off the baby at the hospital for his DNA test.
