Dean's POV
For the first time in his life, Dean was anxious to go back to school.
He was looking forward to hanging out with Lisa and Jess this weekend, sure, but he just couldn't seem to get a certain pair of ocean blue eyes out of his head.
~~~~~
Dean wrote a note for their parents, reminding them that they were spending the night with Lisa and Jess, and then yelled at Sam to hurry up.
"We were supposed to be there five minutes ago and it takes at least fifteen to get there! What on earth is taking you so long?"
"Nothing! I'm just packing my stuff up," Sam yelled back, slightly too angry for the situation.
What is going on up there?
Dean silently walked to the stairs and snuck up them. As he reached Sam's door he saw him sitting on his bed sending a frustrated look to his phone that was sitting, silent, in his hand.
"Whacha doing there, Sammy?" Sam jumped and dropped his phone. He frowned.
"Don't sneak up on me like that, Dean! I could have broken my phone!"
"Oh boohoo I'm so sorry. Will you stop waiting for someone to text back and get in the car already? You don't have any friends, the phone isn't going to ring," Dean spoke back, irritated.
"Oh like you're one to talk Mr. Lisaismyonlyfriendandeventhatissurprising."
Dean stuck his tongue out at Sam and turned to leave, Sam finally trailing behind.
"OH MY GOD WE HAVE TO PLAY TRUTH OR DARE!!!"
"What? No! What are we, twelve years old?"
"Um excuse you Dean, it happens to be the classiest game in which gossip is spread. Don't you know anything?"
"I happen to know a lot of things Lisa, thank you very much." Dean said with a wink. He was then promptly hit in the face with a pillow.
Dean pulled a chip out of Lisa's hand and popped it into his mouth, giving her a grin when she glared back. The four of them were sat in a circle on the floor of Lisa's room. They had spread their sleeping bags around them and had pulled the blankets and pillows off of Lisa's bed. Her room was nice, it had a long window seat and and a spacious floor. Her bed was queen size and Jessica often complained that Lisa's room was twice the size of Jessica's. The four had sleepovers often; their parents knew each other well and trusted them together.
"Okay so I volunteer Dean to go first."
"What, no! Why can't you go first Jess?"
"Because I am dying to know about that kid that Lisa said was following you all day."
"He wasn't following me, we just have a lot of classes together."
"Well.....?"
"Well what?"
"Do you like him? I totally saw the way you two looked at each other today in the parking lot." This one came from Sam.
"Shut up, Sam you don't know what you're talking about. We met today and I showed him around and I'm going to help him out with math and just because his eyes are really pretty and he winked at me today and he's really cute and he basically asked me out on a date doesn't mean that I like him I mean come on I just met him today." Dean scoffed a little and looked at the floor.
"Whoa whoa whoa you two have a date?! When? This is huge! Dean you haven't made a friend, let alone had a date, in like twenty years."
"First of all I'm only seventeen, not twenty. Secondly, it is not a date he just needs help with math because he's new and all."
Lisa, Jessica and Sam all gave each other a knowing look. Lisa smirked at Dean.
"How about I meet this guy on Monday? Your friend is my friend, right? I'm sure he could use the extra help around school anyways."
Jessica looked at Lisa with a questioning glance. The two seemed to have a conversation with just a few glances and some facial expressions. Suddenly Jessica started laughing.
"What? What just happened? What are you planning? Should I be worried?"
"Oh no Dean, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. We will take care of everything, won't we Jessica?"
"Oh yes, you just be you and we will take care of the rest. Same goes for you Sam," she said with a wink.
"What? Who are you talking about?"
"Sam, you didn't tell me that you had a crush. So, who is the lucky human? It's not Becky is it? Please tell me you haven't fallen for her creepy personality. She's always trying to get me to talk about you and it's weird." Dean shuddered at the memories.
"I wasn't exactly aware that I had a crush on anyone so please, Jess, fill us in."
"Well, there is this new kid at school and I just know that Sam and-" Dean cut her off.
"Does this kid happen to have the name of Gabriel?" Dean had gone a little pale and was starting to look at Sam with slightly widened eyes.
"OH MY GOSH YES YES HIS NAME IS TOTALLY GABRIEL! Did Sam tell you about him? They are so totally adorable together. Or, at least I think they will be because they haven't actually met yet but I can totally see it happening."
Dean looked at his brother with new eyes and a slight smile.
"Sam do you have something you want to tell me?"
"Not particularly no." Sam bit his lip and looked at the ground. He took a deep breathe and then he looked back up to meet his brother's eyes. "However, I feel like you should know that I might be just a little bit, maybe a lot but I'm not sure yet, but I might be kind of gay." Sam stopped and waited for his brother's reaction.
Dean smiled.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" He looked at Jessica and Lisa. "Did you two know?"
"Of course we knew! I mean, it's not like he told us but we totally could tell. My gaydar is extremely accurate. I have never been wrong. For example, I believe that our little Sam here is pansexual, not homosexual," Lisa decided.
"H-how did you know that?" Sam asked in awe.
"I told you," Lisa pointed to her temple, "Gaydar. It has yet to fail me."
Dean watched as Sam shook his head, a look of wonder on his face.
The four then actually started to play truth or dare. They continued the night, playing games and laughing as the different dares took place. At one point Dean had to sing ABBA while wearing a pink fuzzy robe. Lisa took pictures.
The night went on and ended with them watching Mean Girls, all of them quoting every line. There was no doubt about the bond the four had. They all depended on each other. If one of them had a rough time, they all did. The four talked and giggled and shared secrets through the night, and finally they fell asleep in the early hours of the morning.
