Ask Anna
A/N: Sorry for the delay and thank you for all of your submissions! In fact, I might do this again sometime if I get good reviews for this chapter. I hope you like my answers. Sorry, if I wasn't able to answer your question for whatever reason.
If you skipped the author note from the last chapter, I advise you read it so you understand this chapter.
@madimay2 : "What did she think of the marauders when the first met? Did they always get along or did it take awhile before they became super close?"
Anna: Hmmmm....Well, Remy was the first one I met when I was on the Hogwarts Express. I liked him immediately. He just seemed very nice and intelligent. I never would've thought he'd become my husband though! I was a bit unsure how to react to Sirius and James at first, it was hard not to like them. They were so funny and open around me. I didn't have many friends before Hogwarts so I had never experienced anything like that other than with Lily and maybe Sev. They really made my first day at Hogwarts feel a lot less lonely and it made it feel like I was starting a fresh new life. It was great. Of course, it took a little longer to become as close as we did. When I met them, I knew I liked them, but I had no idea the impact those 3 odd boys would have on my life.
@YoMyManSup :"On a scale of 1-10, how good was your relationship with Lily?"
Anna: Definitely a 10. I may have spent most of my time at Hogwarts with the Marauders but at the end of the day, I would always come back me and Lily's dorm and talk to her. She was there for me and I was there for her. Sure, sometimes we argued but all sisters do at one point. Then again, she didn't really like me hanging around the Marauders that much at first...so perhaps 9.5 would be a more truthful answer.
@YoMyManSup :"Did you think of Peter as a shady character when you first met him?"
Anna: Nope. Peter was the sort of guy who could be easily overlooked. He stayed in the shadows. Sometimes I did find him a bit annoying because it felt like he was using James and Sirius, but I never really did anything about it. I've always just kind of ignored him. He seemed so harmless. I would never have guessed that underestimating the rat would cost me my sister's life...
@Yoda_Mooney_FNA : "My question is, did Anna ever have a big/little crush on Sirius?"
Anna: *blushes* Sort of...I thought he was kind of cute when I first met him but once I got to know him, I just couldn't think of him as anything but a brother even though he liked to flirt with me sometimes for amusement. Don't tell him I said he was cute, though...his head is big enough as it is!
@EmGinerva: "What did Anna think when she first met Snape?"
Anna: I thought he was a little strange, which is why I liked him. Me and Lily had always been picked on for being a little odd. Sev was the person who showed me that being different wasn't so bad and that I wasn't alone. I also thought he looked and sounded a lot smarter than other children our age. It was always interesting to hear what he thought of things. But most of all, he seemed lonely which was also something I could relate to.
@pinkpeacock: "(To Snape) Do/Did you like Anna or Lily better?"
Snape (A/N: Sorry if he seems out of character): I never fancied Anna. I had thought about it, but it just wouldn't have felt right and it certainly wouldn't have been fair to date her just because I couldn't have Lily. Lily will always be the one I love.
@RiddledLover: "Is there a specific animagus you were hoping be?"
Anna: A tiger definitely would've been cool or a lion (since I'm a Gryffindor). I had also always wondered if it were possible to have a dragon as your animagus. But after being 'Red' for all these years, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. A person's animagus is almost never what the person originally expects nor wants it to be. James hadn't been too happy when he found out what his was but after a few nights as a Stag, he grew very attached to his animagus form. In my personal opinion, every wizard and witch should find out what their animagus form is at some point in their lives. It really helps give you an idea of who you really are and I think that getting to know yourself is one of the first steps in accepting your insecurities and gaining self confidence. I'm not it would help everyone, but I do think it's worth a shot.
@SuperRockerChick: "Anna, did you and Lily have twin senses like my brothers do? If so did you ever use this as a way to mess with the boys? Did you feel something when Lily died or did you not have a clue until you were arrested?"
Anna: Oddly enough, no. That could be because me and Lily aren't identical, though. I'll have to ask Fred and George about it. That would certainly explain how they always seemed so in sync!
@r_purpplelover: "What if she had a child what would happen, what would she/he be named, and what would they look like?"
Anna: *smiles dreamily* Oh he/she would be absolutely stunning. I'd prefer for her/him to look more like remus than myself. However, I'd love it if I could have a child with green eyes like my self and Lily. I don't think I could decide on a name. It's probably take me months to decide!
@Lemondropcat: "Is there a small, tiny , sliver of a chance that you could have a child after the accident?"
Anna: *sighs sadly* 'Fraid not. Believe me, I've tried. Sometimes it just doesn't seem fair. It feels like I have sacrificed so much and I can't have the one thing I want the most, a baby girl or boy of my own. And it hurts even more knowing that people like Lucius Malfoy have children and don't even love them. He knows it too. Every time I look at that man I can see the twisted pride he has in himself for having something that I don't have and he's even told me himself that he's glad that he had a hand in stopping me from passing my "dirty blood" to another generation of wizards. But the joke's on him, because I have Harry. So, even though Malfoy stopped me from getting pregnant, he never truly stopped me from becoming a mother ;)
@salazar12Slytherin: "What was Anna's reaction to baby Harry?"
Third person POV:
Anna shoved the deatheater, a man named Desmond Crypt, against the hard concrete wall of the interrogation room and pinned him with a fierce glare. She snarled with exaggerated impatience and anger in order to get him to talk, "If you don't stop stalling and start giving me answers, I can promise you that an extra 10 years will be added to your sentence in Azkaban!"
The man gulped and Anna saw his face go pale with fear when she mentioned Azkaban, "Alright! Alright! I'll talk!"
The redhead let the slightest hint of wicked satisfaction slip through in a smirk before she continuing her interrogation, "I want names, Crypt! I don't-"
The door of the darkened room, opened unexpectedly and Anna whipped around giving her colleague an annoyed look, "Can't you see I'm in the middle of something here?! This better be important. You know your not supposed to interrupt unless it's an emergency."
The man in question nodded stiffly, "My Apologies, but a Mr. James Potter called in and said that your sister is in the hospital and -"
He was cut off when the enthusiastic witch grinned and dashed out of the room, calling over her shoulder, "Take over for me!"
The excited woman let him take care of the interrogation as she rushed to the hallway to let her superiors know where she would be going before apparating to the hallway outside Lily's room in the hospital. The second she had arrived, she heard her sister, who was in labor, shout, "Dammit, James! I'm not having this baby without Anna here! Get my sister here or, I swear to Merlin, I will kick your sorry-"
Anna quickly opened the door to the hospital room and rushed to Lily, "I'm here, Lils!" She heard James sigh in relief, "Thank Merlin! What the hell took you so long?!"
She glared playfully at her honorary brother, "I couldn't just leave work without notice, James. Unlike you and your rich self, I have bills to pay and I can't afford-"
Sirius (who had been sitting in the far corner of the room) interrupted her, knowing that Anna could babble on for hours when she was stressed or nervous, "Just take her other hand and shut up, Red." His words would have been rude or hurtful if they hadn't been said in such a brotherly, teasing tone and punctuated with a humorous wink.
The fox rolled her eyes but complied, getting on the other side of Lily and let her squeeze her hand until it was black and blue. She winced in sympathy for her sister's evident pain but she later saw that all the pains of birth had been worth it when a delicate baby boy was eventually placed into her arms. The adoring smile that lit up her face in that moment was one that would stick around for at least another few hours. The redhead couldn't take her eyes off of the tiny bundle as she addressed her sister, "Oh, Lils, he's gorgeous!"
James came next to her with a soft, almost sentimental smirk, "Of course he is. He looks just like his father!"
She rolled her eyes but couldn't deny it. Harry had only just came into the world and he already looked distinctly similar to his father from his nose shape to the little tuft of messy dark hair on his head. She hoped that the boy would develop his mother's eyes, or else they would have a carbon copy of James running around.
After a few minutes of rocking and cooing at the newborn, Lily grew anxious to have her son back in her arms. Anna had been reluctant to let go, but didn't argue. She just pressed a kiss to the boy's forehead and smiled down at him, her eyes watery.
And she knew that, from that moment on, even when her nephew left her arms, he would never leave her heart.
[A/N: Sorry, I got carried away with some of these. Please comment what you think about this chapter!]
