Bella's POV

When I got to school I looked right at Edward and past him. He followed me to where I was leading him. He needs to know what I know now. I know what he is and I'm not afraid I feel connected to him. I read in the tribe history book I got from the library. That surprisingly wolves or shifters exist I guess. Also the cold ones or vampires you could say. They both have mates in the world I guess. Wolves have imprints and vampires still called it a mate. I feel so connected and intrigued by Edward. Maybe I'm his mate and we could be together. Once we were in the woods I dropped my bag.

"You're impossibly fast, and strong. Your skin is pale white and ice cold. Your eyes change color, and sometimes you speak like--like you're from a different time. You never eat or drink anything. You don't go out in the sunlight. ... How old are you?" I said

"Seventeen" Edward said

"How long have you been seventeen?" I asked

"A while" Edward says

"I know what you are" i said

"Say it...Out loud....Say It" he snaps

"Vampire" I say

"Are you afraid?" He asked

"No" I said

In reality I was a little nervous and freaked out. I still had a connection with him and I didn't want to let it go.

"Then ask me the most basic question: what do we eat?" Edward says

"You won't hurt me" i said

He came up to me and grabbed my arm and began to walk.

"Where are we goin?" I asked

" Up the mountain. Out of the cloud bank. You need to know what I look like in the sunlight" he said

Then he threw me on his back and we ran fast. Well he ran I was on his back watching as everything flew past. It was blurry, but the wind felt amazing.

"This is why we don't show ourselves in the sunlight. People would know that we're different. This is what I am" he says and shows his skin

I watch as it sparkles in the sunlight, truly amazing.

"It's like diamonds. You're beautiful" I said which caused him to chuckle sarcastically

"Beautiful? This is the skin of a killer, Bella. I'm a killer" he said

"I don't believe that" I said

"It's because you believe a lie, A camouflage, I'm the world's most dangerous predator, Everything about me invites you in, My voice, my face, even my smell, As if I would need any of that. As if you could out run me, As if you could fight me off" he said then began to throw a stew root

"I'm designed to kill" he said

What he doesn't understand is that I don't care. I could care less if he's killed before I want him.

"I don't care" I said

"I've killed people before" Edward says

Like I said it wouldn't matter to me I truly didn't care.

"It doesn't matter" I said

"I wanted to kill you, I've never wanted a human's blood so much in my life" Edward said

"I trust you" I said

Did I really just say that to him, I mean come on he's a vampire.

"Don't" Edward said

"I'm here, I trust you" I say but he backs off

"My family, we're different than others of our kind, We only hunt animals, We've learned to control our thirst, It's you, Your scent, It's like a drug to me, Like my own personal brand of heroin" Edward says

"Why did you hate me so much when we met?" I asked

Because that's how it was in biology on the first day. He looked at me with complete disgust and it hurt. Then a field trip he gets all rude towards me.

"I did, Only for making me want you so badly, I still don't know if I can control myself" Edward said

"I know you can" I say

I truly trusted him well to a point I mean I liked him a lot.

I can't read your mind, You have to tell me what you're thinking" Edward asked

"Now I'm afraid" I said

He didn't understand what I meant by that. I wasn't afraid of him just the idea of losing him. I've lost so many people, Trinity left me alone. I have been so lost without her and now Edward is here.

"Good" Edward says

"I'm not afraid of you, I'm only afraid of losing you, I feel like you're going to disappear" i said

"You don't know how long I've waited for you, And so the lion fell in love with the lamb" Edward said

"What a stupid lamb" i said

"What a sick, masochistic lion" Edward said

After that I remember I needed to go see Trinity. Now I have to tell her about Edward not the vampire part. She isn't allowed to know that part what so ever. I could get Edward and his family killed for me knowing. I got back into my truck and headed towards la push beach.

Trinitys POV

I was waiting at the beach for Bella, she was taking a while. I began to think she left me high and dry. I wouldn't balm her though I left her alone with Charlie. She would only be returning the favor that's all. Until I smelled a vampire, but none could be here right. I growled, but stopped when I saw Bella. The smell was coming from her, but she wasn't one. No she had been with one at some point today.

"Where were you?" I asked trying not to growl

"With a friend, that I'm totally telling you about as we talk" she sounded excited

"Alright let's walk and talk" I said

Oh who was she hanging out with, I swear if someone hurts her. Oh I'll rip the heads off ever damn blood sucker around. If anything happens to Bella any and all of them are dead. For now I'd get information out of her then kill later.

"Keep calm Trinity she can't know remember" Paul said

"Yea I know" I said in response
