Sam's POV

Billy told me that Trinity and Bella would be returning to forks which was both good and bad. Bella I wasn't too worried about besides her being human. The shifters were born to protect humans of course. I was more worried about Trinity for versions reasons. She didn't know where she truly came from, but she would. She's a little older then Jacob but not by too much. Knowing her though and her bloodline she'll phase first. Maybe Jacob will, but she has more wolf in her then they know.

It's harder to have a female shifter, but I knew she'd phase. Because her bloodline ran through the females. Of course she'd never meet her real family for many reasons. Mainly because they weren't alive anymore and they gave her up for protection. Her and Jacob weren't far in age, but she was already sixteen. Which means when she comes to forks she might phase. It's going to be hard considering Charlie is human and has no idea. He doesn't know about the shifters or cold ones. It has to stay that way for everyone's safety. The humans can't be involved unless they are the imprint of a shifter. It's complicated, but of course it's always for the best.

Trinitys POV

Finally arriving home and I jumped out of the car. I took a deep breath of the fresh damp air. I felt something inside me shift and it wasn't fun feeling for me. It was a tad painful, but I pushed it aside quickly not caring really for it enough to worry. I grabbed my bags and walked into the house and towards my room. I walked up the stairs and into my decent size bedroom. It was exactly the same like Jake had promised. I smiled seeing the pictures on my desk and nightstand. The picture of me and Jacob at la push. Then the one of me, jake, quill, embry, and Jared. I can't believe he isn't going to be hanging with us anymore. I'm back in town and I missed my friends I felt compelled to call him. I took a deep breath and pulled my phone out. I hovered my finger over his contact and finally clicked it.

Call

"JJ?" I said into the phone

I was surprised he actually answered the phone this time since it's been a while.

"Hey jellybean" he said

"I'm back home and I haven't seen you guys in so long how have you been?" I asked

"I've been busy with a lot of things what about you?" He asked

"Well jake told me you haven't been around and that made me sad, I wanted to come home and recreate that picture at la push of us all" i said with a soft smiled

Jared's POV

I didn't know what to say really, she couldn't know about shifters. I mean sam said she was going to phase, but she doesn't know. I didn't know what she would think if I said I can't. I took a deep breath I could literally feel her sadden. If possible, she sighed on the other end of the line. I felt bad she couldn't see me much anymore.

"Trinity i...." I stopped

"Don't worry Jared it's alright I get it, I probably will be busy with school work anyway Umm I'll talk later" she said and before I could respond she hung up

Damn it

"She'll understand soon" Paul said

"We we're all friends once Paul" i said softly

"I know you guys were, but she doesn't know and can't yet" Sam said

"You didn't hear the sadness in her voice it kills me" i said

Trinitys POV

Tears formed in my eyes, I mean after everything. Me and Jared had a close connection at one point. I mean when we were fourteen I guess we sort of dated. Tears slowly fell down my cheeks and I locked my door. I curled up on my bed pulling my knees to my chest. I decided to call haze and see what he was up to.

Call

"Hey what's up?" He asked

"I Umm.." I could hardly speak

"Why are you crying, you just got there what happened?" He growled

"How do you know if a shifter is here?" I asked

"What do you mean?" He asked

"Like how do I know if my friend is one?" I asked

"Well Umm they might have a tattoo that they normally would never have gotten on their shoulder" he said

"Ok and if I can't exactly meet up with them to tell if they have one?" I asked

"How close we're you?" He asked

"Well I sort of dated him at one point, but it was sort of not it's complicated we were younger, he has been distant my friends said and he's following this guy Sam around like a....holy shit he's a shifter isn't he" i said

"Most likely" he said sounding slightly nervous

"Great and how do I tell him I know" I said frustrated

"I don't know that you can" he said

The frustration began to build and I felt angry. Then a sharp pain shot through my veins. I felt my body heat on fire and it caused me to start panting.

"Trinity are you okay?" Haze asked

"Somethings wrong with me haze I... fuck my body it's" I could hardly speak

"Trinity I need you to go find that Sam person and fast" he said

"What's happening haze?" I felt my body heat rise

"I don't know how, but your gonna phase Trinity and you need to find Sam and that guy" he said

"Stay on the phone please" I whined

"I will just hurry you'll be in less pain if you do" he said

I rushed downstairs and put the door, to my surprise Jake and billy were here. I looked at billy and his eyes widened.

"You know?" I whispered

"Find Sam" he whispered

"Hey where you going?" Jake asked

"I'm sorry I have to go dad I'll be back" I whined in pain

I rushed towards Sam's house as fast as I could.

"Haze you there?" I nearly yelled

"I'm here Trinity run it will get better I promise" he said

I ran faster well I tried to at least and finally I saw Sam's house in view.

"SAM" I yelled stumbling towards the door

Paul, Sam and Jared rushed outside

"Trinity?" Jared said confused

"I know, I've knows about....FUCK shifters" I said dropping to my knees

"Trinity breath" Jared rushed to my side

"Who's on the phone?" Paul asked

"Haze my friend he's a shifter" i said through breaths

"Get her inside" Sam said

"It hurts" I whined

"I know but it will get better" Jared said softly

"Jacob doesn't know does he?" I whispered

"No" he said
