The gang chattered as they tried to get to know their new house mate.

"So... Um miss Tonya, where do you come from? " Bruce pondered trying to step out of his comfort zone.

"Salem, Oregon...... and please call me Toni,  all my friends do"

"Well Toni, what are you interested in,  what are your hobbies? "

"Well, I like tinkering with different gadgets and fiddling with chemistry and stuff"

"Cool you're like Tony and Bruce combined into one person" Clint commented as he bit into an apple.

"I'm not so sure that's such a great combo if you ask me" of course Steve being a stick in the mud as usual.

I looked at a device that was laying on Uncle Tony's workbench. It was a gauntlet to one of his suits. It appeared to be malfunctioning according to his notes and it wasn't firing properly.

I sat down and got to work on it. Exposing the wires and circuits,  I quickly found the issue and corrected it.

"Hey guys, have you seen the gauntlet I was repairing?  It's not on the workbench where I left it" Tony asked looking all over the lab.

"Ah, I saw lady Toni with it earlier, she was looking for you" Thor stated.

"Uncle Tony,  where are you?" The teen asked holding the device in hand.

"Right here, what's up kiddo?" Tony looked at his niece who was beaming with excitement.

"Here's your gauntlet back, I fixed it for you" the girl looked at him proud of her work.

"Really, I've been working on that thing for a week and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Well let's go test it out" Tony walked over to a test dummy and slipped on the gauntlet.

Just as he was told, it worked like a charm. Better than before.

"Damn, maybe I'll hire you to help keep maintenance on the suits. Great job sport" he congratulated the girl.

The look on her face was priceless as she knew her uncle accepted her and was proud of what she did.
