Chapter 2: Introductions
~~~~~Michael's POV~~~~~~~
I woke up in a completely white room, which I think is a hospital room. The only person there was the orange girl.
"You're finally awake!" she said happily " So I thought you should know that Jeremy spent some time Heere."
"Did you really just make that pun?" I said, pretending to be angry.
"You will never know" she said with a smirk. "Yes, I will know." I retorted " I can just look at the text of the story!"
"MICHAEL!" she said angerly " Now look what you've done! You're making the audience freak out about the fourth wall!"
"Sorry" I mumble.
"Let's just get back to the main plot" she said tiredly.
"Jeremy left when his eyes got the mark of the squip on it though." she said clearing her throat.
"How do you know what the mark of the squip is?" I ask, genuinely curious.
"I've dealt with situations like this before" she mumbled. She seemed upset so I stopped questioning it. "So you seem to know my name but I never got to hear yours." I say cheerily while wearing a huge smile.
"Oh um, you can call me....hmm.." she seemed to think about the question for a long time. That is really suspicious.
"You can call me Ally!" She said enthusiastically.
"Okay, Ally, so why are you here?"
"Do you mean here like, here in this hospital room, or here like, here on planet earth? Because I don't know why I'm on this planet. No one knows why their on this planet, when you think about it further generations will only remember around 1/100 of the current population even though around 1/10 do something amazing, the chances are so small then why should we do anything at all? It won't make a difference, so we should really live by the statement 'Go big or go home'. Does it really matter at all? Don't even get me started on in the scale of the universe because-"
"Here in this hospital room." I say. How did Ally say that all in one breath?
"Oh, well you looked like you needed a friend so I decided to be your friend!" She said, smiling wide. "I wanted to make sure you were all right."
"I don't need your pity." I said bitterly
"Well, maybe I need a friend too." She got up to leave
"Wait, can I have your number so we can talk?" I said
"Don't have a phone, I'll know where to find you." Ally mutters "Bye."
"Bye."
