(This is a non despair Au which means no killing game has happened. Also this is a non canon book for both KSF and Into Code unless said otherwise. (1st Person PoV: Toshino Yuu)

I rested my hand on the handle as the train went by, zooming through the city.

My other hand on my phone, scrolling through whatever I can find interesting. There was nothing so far.

I pushed my glasses up with a free finger from my hand holding phone before going back to look at it again.

So far nothing.

Then I got a ping from my phone and checked to see who it was from.

It was from the class group chat that our class representative made. Big mistake on him.

(All nicknames are from Toshino's perspective)

AnnoyingSisterbutweloveher: Hey what time do you think he'll be there

HarryPotterReject: Beats me

Hasafemboybf: Well considering that it's almost two hours away from here and he'll probably get intervene or something. 2 hours at least

B*tch: a few weeks without him whooo!

AnnoyingSisterbutweloveher: Silence! •v•

HarryPotterReject: Not everyone hates him

Mybeloved: You do know he can see this right?

GothDirector: So how's the trip Yuu?

Me:
Meh, kind of boring honestly

Crybaby: Is it really that boring?

HarryPotterReject: Well no sh*t he's gonna be on a train for at least two hours or so

HolaSoyDora: So back to Hina's question, what time do you think you'll be there?

Me:
Honestly I think I have an idea

Me:
Since I left around 4, I'll most likely be there at 6 and that's if nothing happens

Mybeloved: What do you think will happen?

AnnoyingSisterbutweloveher: ooh! Maybe a bear sits on the track

I put my phone away in my pocket as people moved along to get out of the train.

I grabbed my suitcase, hopped off and looked around for a dark skinned woman with a yellow orange dress.

I spotted her and walked towards the woman.

"Hello, you must be Toshino Yu right? Mind telling me your pronouns so I know what to call you by?" She asked.

This surprised me honestly.

Maybe I should also ask for pronouns from now on. You never know.

"Just he/him. What about you?" I asked.

"I go by she/they/nova/star/moon. My name is Eliza Dubiouse but I prefer it if you call me Eliza," she explained.

"Ok Eliza," I felt a bit odd calling an adult by their first name if I'm not exactly close to said adult. Hell I don't even call my own parents and I'm not going there.

Unpleasant memories.

Anyway, Eliza looked at my suitcase.

"Do you want me to carry that?" Nova asked.

"No it's fine," I assured nova.

"Ok. I'll show you where you'll be staying and I'll escort you to the class you'll be staying for the weeks you will be here," she explained.

I nodded and she led me to the school.

"Here will be your dorm. And here's my number if you even need to call me for something or Vui and I'll introduce you to her later," Eliza explained.

"Ok," I muttered.

Nova handed me a key as well as a piece of paper with numbers on it.

"It's your dorm key," star explained as she saw my confused look.

"Oh...," there was an awkward silence.

"Well then, I best be off. Call me if you need anything," Eliza left.

I unlocked my dorm and set my suitcase on the bed. I closed the door behind me and locked it.

I looked through the empty drawers and then I looked at my suitcase.

I opened it up and began to place my clothes in the drawers.

I looked at my binder that was now settled neatly on the bed with hesitation.

Should I put it on now or wait until tomorrow? I thought.

I didn't wear it during the train ride because I already wore it all day and my sister lectured me about leaving my binder on for too long.

She cares about my well-being that way. Even if we slip in a swear word just for fun during our talks.

I decided not to put it on until tomorrow.

I yawned as I placed my binder away in the drawers where my shirts were.

I lay down on my bed and stared at the ceiling.

Tomorrow I'll meet up with the class that I will be in for these weeks.

Why was I nominated to go? Well you see, I have no f*cking idea!

A/N: a few things to note.

I don't know a whole lot about being trans and LGBTGIA so if I use a term incorrectly or I get something wrong, please correct me and I'll work on making sure it's correct.

Also usage of pronouns, did I do good? Almost none of the Into Code people use neos, people in the sequel do. If I use someone's pronouns wrong, again please correct me and I'll make sure that it's correct and not do the same mistake.
