Blue's ears heard it before she saw it. A scream, one of a male getting attacked. She raced toward the sound as another scream filled the air. Whoever it was had some vocal cords. She arrived and quickly pushed a small boy out of the way. He gave a yelp before she tossed Blasty out.

"WATER GUN!"

The Water type move slammed into a Rhydon while the male gasped at the power. She helped him behind a tree while Blasty finished the battle.

"Are you ok?" He nodded shakily as he stared at the ground.

"Y-yeah... t-thanks..." He trembled as he stood up, regaining strength after such an event. She smiled.

"That's good. Why are you out here by yourself? Where's your Pokemon?" The boy blinked a bit.

"I always take strolls out here. It's always so calming. But... recently unusual Pokemon have been appearing. I thought I would be ok..." He then paused. "And... I don't have a Pokemon. I never needed one..." Blue hummed as she looked at Blasty. She had just gained a Clefairy named Clefy so... She smiled at the young boy.

"What's your name?" He blinked twice.

"Green..." She smiled.

"Ok Green... We're going to get you a Pokemon, ok?" His eyes lit up a bit as she handed him Clefy's Pokeball. "Come on."

They found a gentle Cubone wandering the area. While it wasn't native, it was still very gentle looking. Blue smiled as Green scanned it with wonder.

"Ok... go ahead and send Clefy out."

He paused before nodding. Clefy came out with a lovely giggle, gaining a smile from Green. She smiled before noticing that the Cubone had noticed the trio. Then she whispered into his ear.

"Ok... now have it use Double Slap." He nodded before calling out.

"DOUBLE SLAP!"

Clefy gave a childish cry before racing over and giving two decent slaps. Cubone yelped a bit before using its bone to whack it back. She pressed an empty Pokeball into Green's hand.

"Alright... now send that at it."

He paused as the small Ground type gave a weak stumble. He gulped before tossing it, causing it to be pulled in and capturing it. His face it up.

"I did it!" She giggled as he went over and picked up the Pokeball. She returned Clefy before going over.

"Nice job. Now... you stay safe, ok?" Green nodded as he let Cubone out to give it a hug. "Now, let's get you home."

Green's little friend group was grateful that he was safe and thanked Blue for helping him. They got attached to Cubone and welcomed it greatly. She smiled before heading off.
