They were both off.
I almost laughed at the situation at hand, didn't they I could speed too? It's not like I was some puny human anymore.
I was Katherine freaking Pierce for god's sake.
But I played along with their little game and sped right after them. Before long, I picked them up, both running towards the Mystic Falls woods. I fully caught up with them when they stopped and hid behind a tree.
I rolled my eyes at that. Where had they been the past 500 years? Certainly not living up to a vampire's full potential, I can tell you that.
"Oh, Ana!" I said in a sing-songy voice. I could hear her breathing heavily. She was scared.
"I see how it is." I said, slowly approaching the tree where she hid.
"It's just like old times. Hide and seek, right? Well, ready or not, here I come!"
Before I could peek behind the tree though, Elijah walked out, holding his hands up in surrender.
However, his hands were lowered when he grabbed my wrists. He was older than me, and could kill me in a second, I knew this, so I chose not to fight back.
"You don't want to do this, Katerina." he said softly.
"She doesn't want to do anything to you anymore. She doesn't want to hurt you."
But just as he said that, Ana stepped out from behind the tree.
