Carol and Damon were in the study room while Olivia, Tyler, and Mason went out for a run. "So, I understand John Gilbert has left town" Carol said. "Have they found the vampire that attacked him" Carol asked.

"Well, the sheriff has asked me to take the lead on that and I promise you I will get to the bottom of it" Damon said.

"Which brings me to my next subject with Richard gone I'll be acting as interim mayor until the elections and I'm going to need someone to spearhead the council" Carol said.

"Oh" Damon said. "I'd like that person to be you" Carol said. "Whatever you need Carol as a founding family member it's something that's very close to me so I would be honored to help keep this town safe from vampires" Damon said and then Carol heard Mason, Tyler, and Olivia laughing.

"Oh jeez" Tyler said. "How are you so much faster than me now Liv" Tyler asked. "She gets it from me" Mason said.

Carol had closed the doors to the study. "Is it safe to talk" Damon asked. "It's my brother-in-law Mason and my niece Olivia they're still visiting I just don't want them to hear us Mason didn't want any part of the council when he lived here, and I see no reason to bring him into it now" Carol said.

"What was that like seven" Tyler asked. "Six" Mason said. "We don't count the last one" Olivia said. "You crawled it" Mason said.

"What" Tyler said. "Think grandma Lockwood actually passed you in her walker" Mason said. "Is that who I saw when I took the win" Olivia asked. "Yeah, okay shoes off mud my mom" Tyler said.

"Got it" Olivia said and took her shoes off. "Cool yeah" Mason said. "So, all this anger and aggression you're talking about you notice a difference when you exercise" Mason asked.

"Dude, I play three varsity sports work out four times a week and run three I'm gonna say no" Tyler said. "Any episodes" Olivia asked.

"What happens exactly" Mason asked. "Starts out normal you get angry typically over nothing I'm an angry guy you know it just amplifies and then I go off" Tyler said.

"You black out" Mason asked. "Yeah, it's like I go blind with rage" Tyler said. "Is there a pattern like once a month only at night" Mason asked.

"All I know is I lose myself you know for that time I become something else, and I hate it" Tyler said. "Yeah, I used to be like that" Olivia said. "What happened" Tyler asked.

"I learned some things about myself I never knew" Olivia said and looked at Mason. "More tea" Carol asked Damon.

"Damon" Carol said. "Oh yes please" Damon said and Carol poured tea. "Thank you, Carol" Damon said.

Olivia had gone to the carnival and saw Elena and Bonnie as she ran up to them. "Lena, Bonnie" she yelled before hugging them.

"Olivia your back" Elena said. Olivia had pulled away from them. "Yeah, but it's hard to tell for how long you know dad" Olivia said. "Well, it's good to have you back for a while" Bonnie said and Olivia smiled.

"Where's your dad" Elena asked. "He's around here somewhere" Olivia said. "You can hang with us" Bonnie said. "Thanks" Olivia said.

"The ring toss is out of Bart and homer dolls and team Jacob T's" Bonnie said. "Okay I can grab some from the science club also we lost a speaker in the karaoke booth" Elena said.

"Hey, it's all good Elena take a beat look around this is a huge success" Bonnie said. Elena had saw a guy and got an idea sharing a look with Olivia. "Hey uh Carter right" Elena asked.

"You're with the carnival" Elena said. "That'd be me" Carter said. "Okay great" Bonnie said.

"Wow what you need beautiful" Carter asked Bonnie who smiled. "Uh what do you know about Karaoke speakers" Bonnie asked.

"Hey why don't you show me the problem" Carter said. "Yeah, Bonnie, show him the problem" Elena said.

"Okay come on" Bonnie said walking away. "Come on" Carter said laughing. "And then there were two" Olivia said and Elena smiled at Olivia.

Stefan had met up with Damon who was watching Mason wrestle. "Wow you're lurking" Stefan said. "I'm observing" Damon said.

"More like obsessing" Stefan said. Tyler had beat the guy he was wrestling. "He's got strength" Damon said. "He's a triple letter variety athlete of course he has strength you're reaching" Stefan said.

"I bet I can take you" Mason said coming in with Olivia not far behind him who had found him a little while ago.

"Enter the uncle and cousin" Damon said. "Bring it on surfer boy" Tyler said. "Careful you'll live to regret those words" Olivia said. "This is ridiculous" Stefan said.

Mason then had beat Tyler. "Told you so" Olivia said. "I still can beat you" Tyler said.

"Okay, let's go" Olivia said and put her elbow on the table as her and Tyler arm wrestled, and she won. "I beat you before" Tyler said. "Things change" Olivia said.

"Is that it" Mason asked. "Alright he's the champ who wants to go next" Tyler asked.

"Uh Stefan wants to go" Damon said. "Thanks, yeah sure I'll uh give it a shot" Stefan said and went to Mason. "Go Stef get him Stef" Damon said.

"My brother over there thinks I can beat you" Stefan said. "Heh your brother's wrong isn't he sweetheart" Mason said.

"Yeah, dad is pretty undefeated" Olivia said. The bell had rung, and they started to wrestle, and Mason had won. Stefan had gone back to Damon.

"You didn't put in any effort at all" Damon said. "Yeah, actually I did" Stefan said. "Come with me" Damon said and they left.

Damon and Stefan have left the scene to talk a little more about Mason. "Is he" Damon asked.

"No, no, no it wasn't that kinda strength, but it was more than human if that makes any sense" Stefan said.

"What is up with that family" Damon asked. "If they're not vampires, what are they" Damon asked. "Ooh uh maybe their uh ninja turtles" Stefan said.

"You're not funny" Damon said. "Or no zombies, werewolves" Stefan said. "No comedic timing at all" Damon said.

"What, what are you up to" Stefan asked. "Since this is reality and there's no such thing as werewolves or combat turtles" Damon said going to Carter.

"I said ninja turtle" Stefan said. "Hey, you" Damon said getting his attention. "I have a name" Carter said.

"Yeah, I don't care" Damon said and grabbed him by the shoulders staring into his eyes.

"What" he said. "I need you to pick a fight with someone kid named Tyler Lockwood" Damon said. "Damon don't do this" Stefan said.

"No, no it's just an experiment get him mad don't back down no matter what he does okay" Damon said.

"I won't back down" Carter said. "I know you won't" Damon said and Carter had left.

"You do realize somebody's gonna get hurt right" Stefan said. "No someone's gonna get mad as in rage" Damon said.

"And what's that gonna accomplish" Stefan asked. "That Tyler kid is incapable of walking away from a fight let's see who intervenes maybe it's the ambiguously supernatural mystery uncle or even the cousin" Damon said and left.

Carter had picked a fight with Tyler and Tyler had started hitting him back as Mason and Olivia saw as they ran up to him.

"Hey Tyler, hey Tyler hey let go get back" Mason said breaking up the fight. He had gone to fight back when Mason had pushed him back.

He started to fight Mason when Olivia pushed him down jumping over the car with Mason glowing their eyes as Stefan and Tyler saw. "Your eyes" Tyler said.

Mason and Olivia's eyes then stopped glowing and Mason knocked Carter out.

Olivia had helped Tyler up. "Come on you two" Mason said and left with them. You alright man" Stefan asked Carter once he made his way to them.

"Why did I just do that" Carter asked. "You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time" Stefan said.

Mason, Olivia, and Tyler made it back to the Lockwood mansion. "Alright we're home safe territory enough with the silence" Tyler said.

"Told you to leave it alone" Mason said. "What was that move you and Liv pulled" Tyler asked. "Bazillion martial arts I took some classes a while back and taught it to Liv for self-defense" Mason said. "Don't lie to me" Tyler said.

"I'm not lying" Mason said. "I saw something" Tyler said and Mason and Olivia made their way back. "You didn't see anything Ty" Olivia said.

"I saw your eyes both of you they glowed" Tyler said. "Reflection of a car headlight maybe that's all" Mason said. "Reflection of a car headlight" Tyler asked. "Yes" Mason said.

"You really expect me to believe that" Tyler asked. "Tyler enough" Olivia said.

"Hey, you wanna know what you saw you saw me get so angry that I had to pull your delinquent little butt out of a fight" Mason said and Tyler left.

"Sorry dad" Olivia said. "No, it's okay it's best he doesn't know what we are" Mason said.

"I think it's good for Tyler to have you and Olivia in the house" Carol said. "I appreciate that Carol and I know my daughter does too" Mason said.

"Oh, and I can see if I can dig up that stone, you're looking for it's bound to be tucked away in one of Richard's nooks and crannies" Carol said and Tyler made his way over while Olivia made her way to Mason.

"Hey man you, heading up" Mason asked Tyler. "In a minute good night mom" Tyler said. "Good night, Tyler" Carol said and went upstairs.

"Hey, I'm sorry about earlier" Mason said. "Yeah, we could have handled that differently" Olivia said. "We all good" Mason asked. "Yeah, we're good" Tyler said. "Alright come on Liv" Mason said and they both left.
