After learning Jeremy died and Elena turned off her humanity Olivia went for a walk to clear her mind when she saw Hayley in danger.

Olivia rushed over to help Hayley when Klaus beat her to it. "You came" Hayley said. "Well, you did say it was urgent" Klaus said and Olivia helped Hayley up.

"You alright Hayley" Olivia asked. "Yeah thanks" Hayley said.

The vampire sped away as they noticed. "Oh, don't worry about him love he'll never make it through tomorrow night" Klaus said.

"If that" Olivia said. "What if there are more" Hayley asked. "You were foolish enough to make a deal with Katerina Petrova she used you to find the cure and now you're nothing but a lose end you'll be lucky if she lets you live" Klaus said.

"Klaus be nice she's an old friend" Olivia said. "You said you would protect me" Hayley said.

"And I will just as soon as you tell me everything you know about Katerina" Klaus said. "He will I'll make sure of it" Olivia said.

Klaus and Olivia were at the manor when they heard a knock. Klaus answered the door seeing Damon.

"Ah what an unpleasant surprise" Klaus said, and Damon walked in while Klaus closed the door.

"I don't remember Klaus inviting you in" Olivia said. "So, I just came up with a list it's called things you suck at" Damon said to Klaus.

"Number 1 finding Katherine ever number two covering up your secret phone conversations to that little backstabber Hayley yeah" Damon said. "So where is she and does she know about Katherine" Damon asked.

"I should help you" Klaus asked. "After you lot killed my brother and imprisoned me in the Gilbert living room" Klaus said.

"You might want to prioritize Klaus you have much bigger problems Katherine has the cure my guess is she's gonna want to cram it down your throat" Damon said.

"She'll have to go through me first" Olivia said. "You help me find Katherine I'll get the cure I'll give it to Elena everybody wins just let me question Hayley about Katherine" Damon said.

"Can't help you mate Hayley's off limits although I did have a run in with a vampire who may know where Katerina is too bad for you, I bit halfway through his bloody neck he probably won't have much time for chit chat" Klaus said.

Hayley, Olivia, and Klaus were all eating together enjoying their meal when Klaus broke the silence. "So, you're rested you're fed" Klaus said.

"Why are you talking to her like she's a pet dog" Olivia asked.

"Tell me about Katerina" Klaus said to Hayley. "Most men get their power kick from torture and intimidation with you it's drinks and fine dining" Hayley said, and Klaus smiled.

"Oh well in your case I favor hospitality over unpleasantness but I have been known to change my mind on a whim" Klaus said.

"Where's Katerina" Klaus asked. "You seriously think I know" Hayley asked.

"You tipped her off as to what we were up to and set her on a course to find the cure in return she sent her lackey to snuff you out" Klaus said.

"And that means she knows" Olivia asked. "Tell me what did Katerina promise you" Klaus asked. "I was in New Orleans trying to find information about my real parents Katherine found me and told me she could help" Hayley said.

"An orphan" Klaus asked. "Well, that does explain your charming bravado, abandonment issues will do it every time" Klaus said.

"Sounds like you would know" Hayley said. "Don't get him started" Olivia said.

"I'm the only one that can protect you I'm happy to do so provided you cooperate" Klaus said.

Hayley saw one of Klaus's paintings as she and Olivia walked over to it with Klaus behind them. "Hate that" Hayley said. "Be nice" Olivia said. "Too much" Hayley said.

"Why do I even bother" Olivia asked. "I don't get that hmm I don't care hmm this one it doesn't make me want to puke" Hayley said and Klaus smiled.

"Finally, she finds something she likes" Olivia said. "Why'd you paint it" Hayley asked.

"Painting is a metaphor for control every choice is mine the canvas, the color as a child I had neither a sense of the world nor my place in it, but art taught me that one's vision can be achieved with sheer force of will the same is true of life provided one refuses to let anything stand in one's way" Klaus said.

"So, this is your thing show a girl a few mediocre paintings whine about your childhood, and I swoon and spill all my dirty tickets" Hayley asked.

"Is that your way of flirting" Olivia asked. "I felt I had many chances but uh regardless I'm enjoying myself" Klaus said. 

"And you do whatever you enjoy up to and including hurting my friend Tyler for the next century" Hayley said.

"I knew that was coming" Olivia said. "Surely not the next century only until I kill him" Klaus said.

"Klaus" Olivia said. "You talk a good game, but the truth is you let him go and not just because of Olivia my guess you know if you kill him Caroline will hate you forever" Hayley said.

"If I simply killed Tyler my revenge would be over in a moment mm sentencing him to a lifetime of paranoia and fear that's Tyler's true punishment" Klaus said.

"But come now you never really thought there was a future for you two did you" Klaus asked.

"I don't know he might have left Caroline for me if I'd used the cure to kill you" Hayley said. "Ha funny" Olivia said.

"You know if Tyler has even half your resolve, he may actually make it through the year" Klaus said.

"It doesn't take resolve it takes allies network of people willing to do anything for you including chase down loose ends to their death that's how Katherine escaped you all this time" Hayley said.

"Perhaps you know the names of Katerina's special little helpers" Klaus said.

"Maybe I know one or two maybe I'll even tell you" Hayley said. "Then tell us and stop acting like you're not going to" Olivia said.

Klaus just got off the phone with Rebekah after telling him Hayley's vampire assailant is dead.

"My sister informs me your vampire assailant is dead so you're safe and free to go" Klaus said. "Well then I guess I better get going nice seeing you Liv" Hayley said and left.

"Then it was just two" Olivia said. "Yes, so it seems" Klaus said.

"Never thought I'd hear the end of your flirting" Olivia said and Klaus went closer to Olivia. "Flirting" Klaus asked.

"Yeah, nearly made me barf" Olivia said and Klaus laughed. "Guess I should get some rest" Olivia said and got an idea. "I know that look" Klaus said. "What is it" Klaus asked.

"Do you ever want to forget everything that happened and just let go and be with someone you're comfortable with" Olivia asked.

"You, talking about meaningless sex" Klaus asked. "Yeah, why not" Olivia said. "Olivia" Klaus said.

"Klaus I just want one night, okay one night to forget about Silas, Kol, vampires, werewolves, everything I just need one night" Olivia said and when she thought Klaus wasn't going to, she started to walk away.

Klaus stopped her turning her back to face him surprising her. Klaus suddenly kissed Olivia and Olivia kissed him back.

Olivia started to pull at Klaus's shirt and Klaus helped to take it off tossing it to the side.

Klaus, vamp sped Olivia on the table and Olivia took off her shirt tossing it. Klaus laid Olivia down getting on top of her and started to kiss her neck.
