Hello there.

It's been a long time since I posted anything in this book. I haven't needed to, after all. The story was finished, through, completed. Despite sinking back into the pages of my profile, it still managed to become my most read story out of everything. I still occasionally get votes and comments from people I don't know on it.

This story holds so much for me. It marks how I came into the Wattpad world. It marks my gateway into really writing fanfiction. I had dabbled in it in the past, but this was my first full out project. Upon finishing it, I was able to have felt like I completed something wonderful.

Reading back over my story now, I see all sorts of things I want to change. After writing a lot (and I mean a lot) of one shots featuring Brook, many of which have never been seen, as well as writing an entire sequel about her, I learned about my character. Deeper storylines and emotions came through, things that could easily be integrated into this story.

I feel like this unedited version of The Other Definition is missing some of that more deep power that its successor had. I know I'm capable of writing something better, fuller, and longer.

That's why I'm going to be revising this entire book. I can guarantee you, you'll get everything you enjoyed from the original story and then so much more.
