"Why must we be in the mountains?" I ask dad

"Because it's safer if your there" dad calmly explained, Felix is packing our stuff and soon we head up to the mountains. We'll be here a few days earlier than dad and Bella.

It's the night before the battle and I'm sleeping in my tent with Felix. Or trying to, it's impossible with Bella's teeth chattering.

"Are our prayers finally answered?" I ask Felix "Bella dying of hypothermia?"

"Maybe" we soon listen into Jacob and dad saying how he's hotter than dad. But it doesn't sound like their really fighting, dad is letting Jacob help Bella.

"I think dad now realizes Bella isn't right for him" looking at Felix "I'm going to tell dad what I should have told him weeks ago"

Dad I say there's something important I need to tell you.

I know I should have told you earlier but Bella isn't your mate, mom is. Marcus confirmed the bond before I left Volterra.

"Dad proposed to Bella" I inform Felix, he's shocked by this. I tell him the truth how dad is only marrying Bella because he doesn't want Alice or Bella to do something sinister.

"So your dad knows the truth" restating what I said. "Good"

It's morning and right now I'm in some cozy clothes or Christmas clothes but I'm cozy and that's what matters, being cozy. I get out of the tent seeing dad and Felix talk.

"Come" Felix pulls me aside and towards Seth, I know he was told to sit out since he's too young. We wait before Felix pulls me close to him.

"She's using you" I look around and see Riley and a red head who I'm guessing is Victoria.

"Your dead" Riley says after a moment and attacks my dad, I see Victoria try to run away when Seth bites Riley. I soon snap my fingers and freeze everyone, I go and kill Victoria then Riley. When that's done I go and unfreeze everyone.

"I killed them" I tell everyone who's confused "can we leave now?"

We wait for Jane, Alec and Demetri to appear. A newborn was saved, but she supposed to have been. Felix made that clear and killed her, Emmett tried to defend Bree the newborn but it was no use. Jacob got injured because Leah tried to kill one of the newborns on her own.

"I've never seen a coven escape something of this magnitude alone" Jane looks around upset she didn't get to kill anyone. "It's not everyday we're rendered useless"

"If you'd gotten here half an hour earlier your mission would have been fulfilled" dad bates and already upset Jane. Bella is holding onto his side for dear life, I read her mind and she was upset she wasn't turned.

"Yes" she then falls her eyes on me and Felix "did you help Felix?"

"I only kept my mate safe from Victoria, Aro knows about this. I've sent a letter in full detail regarding this crime" my mate tells Jane holding me close to him.

"Good" is all she says then turns to Bella "Caius will be interested in knowing she's still human"

"The dates been set" Bella smugly tells an already pissed off vampire showing her ring.

"Speaking of dates" we turn to Felix, I look to see dad smile and Alice bouncing with excitement. "Dani" looking back to my mate who's now on one knee with a ring in his hand

"Yes" I quickly say making the others laugh at how I didn't let Felix ask. Wrapping my arms around his neck as I tackle him we kiss, I pull apart then I hear dad

"Honey, give him the chance to ask you" I feel a pair of arms grab me to let Felix properly propose and I see it's dad, Bella looks upset by this "Felix go ahead"

"I've waited most of my vampire life waiting for you, during that time I never pictured kids since I didn't think it was possible. But you gave me more than just you, you gave me a family with another one on the way" tears come down my face "every time I look at you I'm afraid you'll disappear and all this wasn't real" I try to go to my mate again but dad keeps his arms firmly around me letting my mate finish what he's about to ask "when I asked for your parents permission it took some time with your father but your mom made me promise to be all romantic. Daisy was there and she gave me this ring since it was in your family for so long. Now Danielle Star will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

"Yes" dad let go of me and I jump into Felix's arms like before and kiss him.

"Ahem" I pulled away from Felix to look at Emmett "this is nice and all but how did Felix propose the first time?" I roll my eyes, it seems Emmett won't ever let Felix live down the first unromantic proposal that got my dad to try to kill him.

"How did he propose the first time?" Alec asks, I look around and see the Volturi members happy for their friend and I see Alice recorded the entire thing. The only person not happy with this is Bella.

"During sex" I tell them, the Volturi don't look at all surprised by this.

"Oh we have to prepare" Alice jumps up and down "when's the date"

"We talked about it two nights ago" before Bella visited the mountain when it was just me and Felix "and July 21st"

"What?" Alice gets all frantic "okay" turning to the others "your three aren't leaving, I need your help"

"Our help?" Demetri asks amused by this

"Yes. I need flowers, color themes, wedding invitations needing to be hand written" she starts going one way then another "and I have no idea what the two want since neither have made up their minds" glaring at us we all laugh, Bella forces it.
