After a few minutes I wanted to know everything I missed.
"Dick, What did I miss?"
"Kaldur is on the opposing side and the team thinks he's a traitor. Don't worry it's part of a plan." Dick soothed my rising panic. "Artemis Faked her death last week and now she's disguised on the opposing side. After a tiff with bruce I became nightwing. There was a new robin in between me and the new robin. Joker killed him." His voice cracked a little but he covered it well. " His name was Jason. Tim is the new robin. Serenity, Jason's best friend, stops by a lot with with her little sister Layla. I watch the little one often." Dicks story telling was cut off by Alfred calling everyone for dinner.
Dick left quickly to talk to Bruce and I focused on trying to make my leg move. Nothing. Dick came back with Bruce and a wheel chair. Bruce hugged me tightly but still said nothing. I resisted the urge to cry . I missed him.
After getting used controlling my wheelchair, Dick and I went down the elevator and down the hall to the dining room. A girl with Dark hair and faded red tips sat at the table along with a boy with shaggy black hair. The boy looked at me and sent me a perfect straight­toothed smile. He stood up and came over to greet me.
"Timothy Drake," He stuck his hand out at me and I shook it. He had one heck of a grip.
"Sonya Quinzel, Nice to meet you Tim." I send him my best try at a smile. He sent me another Striking smile in return and I felt Dick put his hand on my shoulder.
" 'Erenity, would you like to say hi?" Dicks voice was light and soft , like he was talking to a child.
The girl looked up from her food and I held in a small gasp. She looked so sad it broke my heart. Mascara and eyeliner ran down her face and she was ghostly pale. Her voice was a little raspy when she spoke.
"Im Serenity, I've heard a lot about you Sonya."
"Really?"  Did Dick talk about me when I was gone.
"Yeah Richie talks about you lots." She sent me a half smile.
I smiled.
"Don't forget Barbara." Tim cut in. "She tells us all about you."
Serenity visibly swallowed hard.
"Jay was so fascinated by you" Serinitys voice was on the verge of cracking. I smiled again. I would of loved to have met Jason.
I wheeled my chair to an empty space beside Dick and smiled down at the delicacy that is Alfred's cooking. Alfred was very considerate by putting small portions on my plate knowing that I would want to eat a lot and then get sick.
I ate a spoonful of mashed potatoes and I was in heaven.
Halfway through dinner a little girl totteled in followed by alfred. When she got through the door she did a summersault.
" 'ook Didi I i' just 'ike' you!" She squealed.
Dick enthusiastically clapped his hands and smiled.
"Very good Layla." He praised. She smiled and climbed up on serenity's lap. "You know Layla," He continued. "Once Soni gets better she could teach you all kinds of stuff!"
"She can?"
"You bet!"
"Wait..." Layla paused. " Is this the really pretty girl you were telling me about?"
Dick and I turned scarlet.
"Y­yes." Dick stuttered.
"Wow! You are 'ike really cool!"
"Thank you." I smiled.
Alfred walked in again with a plate of his delicious chocolate chip cookies. "Desert?"
