Georgia showed up in my room holding a gown and hair dye. She quickly got to work and dyed my hair brown. She put on some make-up and dressed me in one of Celestiana's gown and then sent me off to Celestiana's room.

I walked the familiar hallway towards Mrs. Koskinen's room. I didn't bother knocking on the door because it would be suspicious. When I closed the door behind me, I was engulfed in a breath taking hug.

I smiled as I saw the brown haired - brown eyed girl that I used to pretend to be. I hugged her tightly.

"I can't believe you're really back!" She exclaimed.

I grinned, "I may be back but not permanently."

She released me from the hug with a pout, "Nonsense! I'm sure Zeke would do something to make you stay."

I sighed, "Well for now, he doesn't know what to do."

She led me to her bed and made me sit down, "Everyone missed you."

I smiled, "I missed everyone too."
I fiddled with my fingers as I spoke. I felt nervous about the plan failing. What if we get caught?

"So what's the plan?" She asked.

I laid down on the mattress, my brown locks spreading on it, "I'm going to pretend as the spanish princess."

"You mean Eldora?" She asked to which I nodded, "You'd have to dye your hair red then."

I sighed, "I figured. I mean her second nameㅡRufinaㅡmeans Woman with red hair."

"I pity your hair. It already suffered a lot of dyeing."

"I pity mine too," I agreed and touched my curled locks. "What's Eldora's eye color?"

She paused for a moment to think, "From what I can recall, it's gray."

My eyes widened, "Gray?"

She nodded, "She's really pretty. When I look at you, the only thing different with the two of you are of course your hair, eyes, and the presence of a tattoo on your shoulder that's in the shape of a flower."

I groaned, "I'd need to wear a lot of make-up. Not to mention wearing contacts."

She patted my back, "You can do this. It's for your safety."

I sighed, "I know."

"She's also a bit taller than you are. She likes the color green and she has a big brother who's name is Fidel. She is looking for a husband." She added.

I rolled my eyes, "You didn't need to say the last one."

She smiled, "I actually wanted you to test those girls."

"What do you mean?" I asked as I sat up again.

"Just be competitive with them and don't be nice to everyone. If they really want to win, they'd impress you so they can have 'connections' with spanish royalty."

"Seems easy enough," I commented.

I hopped out of the bed and approached the balcony. I stared at the front of the palace where Louise and Claire were conversing. They looked the same.

I sighed, I really want to talk to them.

Why did things have to be so complicated?

Why did that stupid Gabriel Illèa have to exist?

I leaned on the railing and stared at the view. It wasn't as beautiful as the one in my room but I still appreciated it.

"Do you want to talk to them?" Celestiana asked.

I nodded, "Yes, but I can't. I can't risk it."

She sighed and put a hand on my shoulder, "I can't imagine how hard it is for you."

I turned my head to look at her and gave her a sad smile, "I'm sure someone else has it worse."

"Let's go back inside before anyone sees two Celestianas." She said with a chuckle.

I smiled and followed her back. I sat down on the couch and kicked my heels off. I lifted my legs to the couch and laid my head on the armrest.

"Should I know anything else about the spanish princess?" I asked.

"Well, first of all. She is quite hard to please which fits with the challenge I'm making you take. She's an artist and she loves mythology. Especially greek, roman, egyptian, and norse. She's obsessed with an old series inspired by greek mythology. I think it was called Peter Johnson?"

Peter Johnson? I never heard of such a thing. But I do remember the series that Xavier loved.

"You mean Percy Jackson?" I asked.

She snapped her fingers, "Right! And the author's name is Ryan Reeman?"

I chuckled a little, "It's Rick Riordan. And you don't need to tell me the plot. I've read the series. It was Xavier's favorite." My voice broke at the end but I contained my tears and put on a smile.

Celestiana noticed my sadness and quickly changed the topic, "She was only friends with Ada and she's harsh to people in a way that it sounds polite."

"She's talented," I commented.

"And so are you," Celestiana countered with a shrug, "You'll do fine."

I sighed and didn't respond. Staring at the ceiling was boring but it gave me time to think. Being miserable won't do me any good. I should continue living, for my family's, mine's, and even Illèa's sake.

I should make a way to eliminate Harriet so Claire or Louise can get the throne. It would also mean that I'll live a miserable life since the people I love are either gone or with someone else. But it's the right thing to do.

But how exactly am I going to do it?

I heard Celestiana sit down on her bed. After after dinner."

"What is it?" I asked with fake interest.

"The princess of Spain is coming," She answered, "I don't know if she'll like me though. Zeke said that we should make an impression to her so we could form a stronger alliance with them."

I smiled at her and placed my hand on her shoulder, "I'm sure she'll like you. But you should be nice to her. She's a little nasty."

She pouted, "I really hope she likes me."

"Trust me," I said, "She will."

She smiled and hugged me, "Thanks, Celestiana."

I patted her back, "Anytime."

Besides, I'm the one you're meeting.

She beamed, "Let's go talk to Louise. I'll introduce you to her. Maybe you'll be friends!"

Great. I'll be meeting the potential wives of the person I love.

I met them at the selection, yes. But meeting them after getting eliminated is another story.

Louise is a sweet girl and any man would be blessed to have her as a wife. That's why I have this hesitation to talk to her.

But despite my reluctance, I smiled and said, "Alright."

She pulled me towards the couch where Louise was seated. She was still engrossed in a magazine. Claire approached her with a smile.

"Hey, Louise!" Claire greeted.

Louise noticed our presence and put the magazine down. She smiled at Claire and then her gaze travelled to me and her eyes widened.

Does she recognize me?

After two seconds of staring at me, she rose from her seat and bowed to a curtsy, "Princess Celestiana, it's pleasant to see you."

I smiled, "Please, refrain from the formalities."

Claire cleared her throat, "Celestiana, this is Louise. Louise, this is Celestiana."

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lady Louise." I said.

She smiled, "The pleasure is all mine."

"So . . ." Claire began, "Why did you stare at Celestiana for about three seconds?" She asked Louise.

Louise blushed a little, "Well, for a second there I thought she was Julianne."

I grinned, "We do look alike, don't we?"

I sighed in relief. She didn't notice it was me. But because of the mention of my best friend's name, my heart was clouded with sadness and longing. Of course, I didn't let it show.

Claire turned sad and sighed, "I miss her."

"I miss her too." I said sincerely.

Louise smile sympathetically with us. After two seconds of silence, Louise cleared her throat.

"Have a seat." She motioned to the other couches.

I sat down on the couch opposite her while Claire sat beside her. I put my hands on my lap and returned to the image of Celestiana. Claire didn't care about being lady-like when we aren't in front of the cameras so she sat cross-legged. Louise, however, was so demure and proper. She didn't sit like how a royal would, but she sat like a countess.

Both of them would make great queens. They'd lead the country to be a better place.

Claire flipped her hair over her shoulder, "So . . . What were you reading earlier?"

Louise opened the magazine to the page she was reading. She showed it to us and pointed to an article with a poll on the bottom, "It's about the selection."

"What does it say?" I asked.

Louise turned the magazine back to her and cleared her throat before speaking, "The people have been eyeing former elite Iole Haidee Eudora from Angeles since the beginning."

Should've known it was about me.

"Ms. Eudora's elimination caused an uprising to the people. Some make signs to tell the prince to get the girl back. Due to this, we decided to make a poll in which 20,000 Illèans responded to."

"What are the results?" Claire prompted.

"75% voted to bring her back." Louise answered.

75%?

That's a ridiculously large number. I can't believe some people want me back. I heard Claire squeal.

"Oh my god!" She exclaimed, "There's a 50% chance that Zeke will make her come back!"

Louise smiled, "It'd be nice to see her back here."

"As much as I want Haidee to come back, She can't." I said.

Their heads snapped to me. I gulped. Great, now I have to explain.

"Why not?" Claire asked.

I turned my gaze on my lap, "There's a reason Zeke eliminated her."

"But I'm sure it was something petty," Claire insisted.

I shook my head, "It wasn't."

"I think she's right," Louise agreed, "Think about it. As much as I don't want to admit it, Zeke won't let Haidee go that easily. She's his favorite."

Claire sighed, "Then that means I can't see her again."

"Nonsense," I said suddenly. "I'm already hereㅡ" I stopped, "Already here to make sure Haidee attends the ball. I most certainly cannot accept her not coming."

"She better be here." Claire said.

Greetings to all demigods! FYI I'm addicted to Rick Riordan stories so if you have time, read it! I also decided to push through with the PJO/HOO fanfic. I'm also a potterhead and I like the Red Queen. I'm a kpopper too.
