Tyler Lockwood #1
You go out looking for Tyler one evening, and find him sitting alone in the park.
"Hey." You sit down next to him. "Is there any chance whatsoever that you'd take some company right now?"
He shrugged. "I guess so. Doesn't make much of a difference."
"Wow. That bad, huh? Well, it's...been a while now. How have you been handling it?"
"What, that I'm a werewolf, and I have to transform on the full moon night for the rest of my life? Yeah, that's been rough."
You shrug. "Well, you should it was okay if I joined you. I think your mom might be worried about you. She asked me if you've been acting strange at all lately."
He sighs. "How the hell am I going to explain to my mother that I'm a werewolf? I doubt she knows about any of that."
"Maybe you should hold off on that until you've come to grips with it yourself," you suggest. "You'll figure it all out, Tyler. You just got to give it some more time."
"Yeah, I guess so. I'm not alone, thankfully. Caroline's been helping me out, and I have you."
"Well, you'll be glad to know that I am not going anywhere," you say. "You need help, and I do not disappear when a friend is in need. That's just plain rude."
He smiles a little at that. "Okay. Maybe I should be getting home."
"All right. I'll walk back with you."
"No, you don't have to do that."
"No, it's okay. I wanted to spend some time with you, anyway."
The walk to the Lockwood Mansion was a lot less tense than your time on the park bench.
"Thanks for coming to look for me," Tyler says. "I guess between my dad's funeral and being a werewolf, I haven't really been myself."
"Not quite," you agree. "But who knows? Maybe you'll end up becoming a better you."
He scoffs. "Yeah, I doubt that. Goodnight, Y/N. See you tomorrow?"
You nod. "Yeah, tomorrow."
As he goes up the walkway, he turns back and waves to you, and you wave back. Once you've seen he's safely inside, you continue on your way.
