Lucien Castle has to be the most revenge-driven man you've ever met. You haven't known him his entire life, but you know that he has spent centuries yearning for revenge against the Mikaelsons, especially Klaus Mikaelson. You have your own personal score to settle with Klaus Mikaelson, which is why you began spending time with Lucien in the first place. He's so driven to revenge that you barely even have to do anything; all you have to do is follow Lucien's lead and revenge will be yours. However, you have been a little hesitant lately, since you're not certain about Lucien's sanity. 

 From the beginning, you thought Lucien was a little insane, but you thought that maybe it was just his personality that made him seem a little nuts. But you've wondered about that, too. Maybe you've been following a madman on a wild goose chase leading nowhere all this time. The idea of it makes you begin to lose a little faith in him. 

 When he makes plans to go to New Orleans, Louisiana, which is where the Mikaelson family currently resides, you're hesitant to go with him. You have no idea what he's planning, but you know the de Martels are involved in it somehow, and you know Lucien hates Tristan de Martel. 

 "Are you sure about whatever this plan is, Lucien?" you ask him. 

 "There aren't many things in my life I've been more sure about, my dear," he answers. "This plan is going to work." 

 "Even with Tristan de Martel involved in it? Lucien, I know you don't like him and he doesn't like you, which makes me wonder how well this is going to work out." 

 "Well, of course I wish Tristan wasn't involved in it. But however much we secretly despise each other, this is his revenge as well as mine. Besides, having the Strix on our side could prove useful in the long run, couldn't it?" 

 "I guess that's true," you say. "They have a long reach and a lot of power. But Lucien, I know you've been wanting revenge for so long, and I just want to make sure you do know what you're doing. If you don't know what you're getting yourself into, this could easily backfire, and then what? You know Klaus will come for all of us if it fails." 

 "I know. I am very sure what we have in mind will work. Do you want to come? I really hope you will." 

 You stare into his questioning eyes, and you say, "All right. I'll go. I want this to happen as much as the rest of you." 

 He smiles. "Perfect. Start packing. We have a few Mikaelsons to take down." 

 You smile back and kiss his cheek. "I'll get ready." 

 You yourself are ready enough for vengeance that you'll play along in Lucien's plans, whatever they may be.
