Hope Mikaelson #1
At the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, you're basically a loner. You don't have many friends, but it's not something you really mind. You spend most of your time on your own, but you're okay. You don't really mind being by yourself.
You don't know Hope Mikaelson well at all. You met her when you first arrived at the school, but you've barely ever spoken to her or interacted with her. You never see her hanging out with any of the other kids, so you figure she must be a loner like you. You've thought about maybe talking to her a few times before, but you never have. You decide that maybe loners are just better off being loners until they decide they want to start hanging out with other people more often.
Because of that, it drives you crazy that pretty much everyone in the whole Salvatore School seems to think you and Hope should be friends, or even start dating each other. You don't normally hang out with the other kids, but you do know some of the students in your classes, and they all seem to have this same strange idea.
And to make things worse, it isn't just the other kids: Dr. Saltzman, the headmaster, and Emma, the school's guidance counselor, also seem to think you and Hope should try being friends. You know their reasoning is probably to get two loners to actually interact and make friends, but it still kind of gets on your nerves.
You assume that the kids seem to have a fascination with the idea of two loners bonding and falling in love or whatever. That, or they just think it's funny. But whatever the reason, it makes you begin to avoid Hope Mikaelson as much as possible, at all times and in all places. She certainly does not act like she wants to hang out with you, so avoiding her is actually pretty easy.
But then comes a day in one of your classes when your teacher wants you all to get together in teams of two to write a report on something having to do with magic. You look around the classroom, wondering if there's anyone you would actually want to be writing partners with. No one asks you if you want to partner up with them, so when it looks like everyone is paired up, you consider asking the teacher if you can just do the project by yourself.
You do raise your hand and ask, but the teacher answers, "You aren't the only one who doesn't have a partner. Hope, you and Y/N are going to have to team up for this one."
You see that Hope Mikaelson is indeed sitting alone, without a writing partner, just like you.
This is definitely not something you're looking forward to.
